CRENSHAW (CBSLA.com) — Crowds of anti-Zimmerman protesters shut down part of the 10 Freeway in Crenshaw Sunday evening.
About 200 demonstrators stood on the freeway to block traffic.
Many held signs with Trayvon Martin’s likeness, other held signs asking for “justice” and “peace.”
Traffic was stopped on the EB and SB 10 Freeway for about 30 minutes.
There were reports that some of the protesters threw water bottles, batteries and rocks at police near 39th and Crenshaw.

Reporter must not be a local. Angelenos don't call that area 'Crenshaw'. Crenshaw is a major boulevard and the area around it was once called the Crenshaw district.
Don’t be distracted. The Federal government is going to use sleight of hand, to keep our attention focussed on riots and demonstrations like the ones in Oakland, San Francisco and elsewhere, to try and give Boehner and Cantor breathing room to force amnesty for illegal aliens down our throats. Did you see the pics of the protesters walking on the freeway? Hardly a black face among them. Most of them look like young lefty moonbats from Hollywood.
I doubt any of them would have the nerve to go further south than the Santa Monica freeway. The Trayvons in that neighborhood would eat them alive.
Maybe once upon a time when the bikers ruled that area. They cleared out a long time ago.

That part of the Santa Monica freeway runs right through the black part of town, but the brave little hippie darlings know better than to put themselves in mortal danger on those streets. The freeway is neutral ground.

Hey, I used to own a Rental House in Tujunga. Of course that was nearly 40 years ago. It wasn’t that bad (back then).

There are few blacks left in LA...Most people haven’t a clue...Most of South Central is now Hispanic and has been for years now.
And the reason why crime in LA has dropped significantly over the past 15 years...
Fact is, a large percent of blacks over the past 15 years or so, headed to Texas, PA, Ohio, Georgia, and other points east and south.
During the Rodney King party, the local PDs in the suburbs were very active convincing the trouble makers it was not worth it.
