George Zimmerman will get his gun back now that he has been cleared of murder and his lawyer said today that Zimmerman needs the weapon "even more" than before.
Zimmerman's lawyer Mark O'Mara also practically dared the family of Trayvon Martin to file a widely expected civil suit against him, but said that Zimmerman might be filing lawsuits of his own.
O'Mara, in an exclusive interview with ABC News, suggested that Zimmerman has no regrets about carrying a gun on Feb. 26, 2012, the night he killed Martin, a teenager.

He said that Zimmerman intends to rearm himself. When asked if he would carry a gun, O'Mara said, 'Yes. [There's] even more reason now, isn't there? There are a lot of people out there who actually hate him, though they shouldn't."
The former neighborhood watch captain wears a protective vest when he goes out in public, although he didn't wear it to court, O'Mara said.

Hopefully it is still in working condition. It isn’t unheard of for such weapons to be damaged with permanent marker writing all over them, paint, damage to the weapon that requires hundreds of dollars to deal with while police “test” and retain them.
My buddy’s Glock came back that way from his court case.

We should take up a collection to get him a tricked out ultimate carry sidearm and an ultralight weight level 3A vest. I think he needs a Glock 19 with tritium night sites and maybe a few decent holsters that would allow him to carry left side, right side, small of back, and under shoulder, etc. It would be cool to get gim some serious tactical training too. I want GZ to live long and prosper in America.

A full disclosure statement by ABC would read:
“...the night Zimmerman, a flabby, 5’ 8”, 180 lb 29 year old killed Martin, a 6’ 2”, 170 lb. 17 year old high school football player who had already broken Zimmerman’s nose and was continuing to pound Zimmerman’s head against the concrete sidewalk.”

It’d be pretty sweet if a local gun shop donated a couple of ARs, some high quality handguns and loads of ammo to the Zimmerman family.
The one he had seemed to do the job asked of it just fine.
If he’d needed a second shot, he was SOL. Of course, it probably jammed from being limp wristed firing from that awkward position.

To Hades with ABC news and Stephy. Initially, the page with that story loads with a nice picture of MO’M looking resolute and infuriated. Then the picture rolls into a video from the show that is 2m of Tavis Smiley blathering racial hatred. Yes, Tavis, black men are getting killed daily, and “in aggregate” (to use one of your terms), BLACK MEN ARE DOING IT! So what are you doing about THAT!?
