The George Zimmerman case should never have been brought. Saturday night after the “not guilty” verdict was delivered, State Attorney Angela Corey justified bringing the case “to put the facts out there.” But criminal cases should never be brought simply to put the facts before the public.

So what's she saying? "Oh, we didn't think he did it either, but no amount of fear, stress, and expense is too much for someone else to bear, if I can get some face time and 'get some facts out there'"? Sheesh, she's obviously not in defense mode for the malicious prosecution lawsuit yet. Better dummy up quick (no pun intended), Angela!

I saw Jeanine Pirro go ballistic over this on Geraldo Rivera's show tonight.

Pirro said that the justice system should only be used for what it was designed for. A prosecutor should only charge someone when they have the facts to prove the case. The justice system should not be used "to put facts out there." You should be confident that you have the facts to convict before turning some family's lives upside down for 18 months.

She closed by saying that the justice system should not be used to advance the agenda of one political party.

The media refused to cover the Gosnell trial because it was a “local matter”. Well, so was this.

This whole thing was ginned up by the media, sports/entertainment people and politicians (including The Won).

We thought if you could see how flimsy the prosecution's case is, you'll all calm down." What she doesn't understand is that even now that the facts are all "out there" that show GZ acted in self-defense, the ginned-up mobs are still out for blood. The facts mean nothing to them. They never did.

I had to watch because I was waiting to find out how long I have to let a perp beat my ass before I can shoot him. I still don't know even now. I want to do the right thing but no one has explained that yet. If Martin didn't have Skittles, can you shoot him then? There were so many questions I didn't get answers to in my gun carry class. Was Martin supposed to yell out that he was only 17 and unarmed as he was pounding someone's head into concrete?

I know if someone jumped me in the dark, I would assume he was over 18 and armed. That's why you carry a gun in the first place. If Martin was scared as they seem to imply, why didn't he run home in the 4 minutes he had? Why didn't he hang up on his HO and dial 911?

This whole thing is really confusing for me. As it is, I guess until someone gives me some answers I will have to do what I always thought was the right thing and that would be to shoot and ask questions later. If you are beating my ass, I don't think I will wait for brain damage before using the gun I purchased for that reason. It seems to me a lot easier if Martin would have just gone about his business and not confronted Zimmerman. Asking someone you are frightened with "What the "eff" is your problem", is not the way I would start a conversation with someone I was frightened of. If Zimmerman was telling the truth, he wasn't even going to say anything to Martin until the cops came. If Martin just went home, Zimmerman would have been waiting for a cop and Martin would be eating his Skittles in front of the TV at dad's house.

PS. You don't walk around houses under the eves to look in windows just because it's raining. If it's raining going to 7-11, then you can walk in the rain on the sidewalks going home. Sculking around windows under the eves looks bad and will probably draw attention to yourself.

The conduct of the prosecution and the judge was pure kangaroo court. Thank God the jury kept its head and delivered the right decision. A win for justice but it should have never come down to this. And George Zimmerman, what now for him? If I were he, Australia or New Zealand would be under consideration.

If, like most Martin supporters still believe, Zimmerman had "chased down" Martin and shot him just for walking through Z's neighborhood, throw the book at him.
If he, GZ, had accosted Martin and after a non-physical argument had shot him, throw the book at him
If after arguing, Martin had punched GZ and GZ pulled out his gun and shot him, throw the book at GZ.
If during a fight where both parties were exchanging blows and GZ pulled out his gun and shot Martin, throw the book at GZ.
If after sighting Martin and on returning to his vehicle, GZ was accosted by an angry Martin who knocked him down, straddled him, and continued to punch and slam his head into the concrete, and Zimmerman pulled out his gun and shot Martin, GZ is innocent. The known facts of the case suggest the last possibility is what happened. Case closed.

I just got back from Starbucks and had a philly radio station on. They had a lawyer “expert” on who claimed half the evidence supported and half supported Martin. The media needs to stop placating their audience with Bullshit and begin telling them the truth.

Zimmerman should sue every public office holder who weighed in on the matter prior to the verdict. There's more than ample evidence that his arrest and trial were politically motivated. After the public office holders, he needs to initiate law suits against the race baiters such as the Shakedown Brothers, Sharpton and Jackson, as well as elements of the media.

...and he needs to do it while it's still fresh in the public mind. ...just to "...put the facts out there.” ...which is the same reason State Attorney Angela Corey took him to trial to start with. She abused our Judicial System as a "media distribution system". However, Zimmerman on the other hand, has a good case against her and others now through the same Judicial System. Let's see how she likes it when she's the one under the "light". Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee should also sue to be reinstated.

Never have I seen so corrupt a justice and media system so bent on the demonization and destruction of an individual, denied of their prize in such a way. For sure their weekend has sucked and I for one am very pleased that they were DENIED from culminating the evil that they started. I believe that what we've all just witnessed is simply a result of the "reflection" of the types of people who voted in our current vile national leadership. These types of things are exactly what we should expect. Nobody should be surprised. When thieves manage a storeroom, the inventory will either be a running lie, or be impossible to balance. It's a character issue... a heart issue... and it flows from the top down.

But mark my words, what I hope for probably won't happen. Another invented crisis will soon overshadow this issue. A few might see through it, but the masses of blind, willfully stupid people will simply latch onto the next crisis and that will become their focus. Wait and watch for it, because with the real potential of the violent shit-storm that's very likely to come against those who took Zimmerman through this ordeal, they're going to want the focus away from them, and quickly. Something will happen that simply distracts most people.

As for those who have threatened rioting and bloodshed in the streets... that would be a most unwise thing at this point. They've been talking about it for weeks... which effectively means that they've lost any element of surprise. Not to sound prideful or arrogant, but I believe that an appropriate response to their threat at this point would be -
