Fugitive former U.S. spy contractor Edward Snowden controls dangerous information that could become the United States' "worst nightmare" if revealed, a journalist familiar with the data said in a newspaper interview.
Glenn Greenwald, the Guardian journalist who first published the documents Snowden leaked, said in a newspaper interview published on Saturday that the U.S. government should be careful in its pursuit of the former computer analyst.
"Snowden has enough information to cause harm to the U.S. government in a single minute than any other person has ever had," Greenwald said in an interview in Rio de Janeiro with the Argentinian daily La Nacion.
"The U.S. government should be on its knees every day begging that nothing happen to Snowden, because if something does happen to him, all the information will be revealed and it could be its worst nightmare."

I used to try to warn people that Troubles were ahead - financial, social breakdown, whatever.
A few listened a little bit and then since nothing “happened” in a year, back to normal.
Since I live way, way far away from any cities (more than a tank of gas), I won’t see too many people. I’ve begged a grown daughter to get fire arm and consider moving here if things get worse but no luck on either one.
Fortunately in my area there’s a fairly large number of like minded people. For instance, about a year or more ago I called the well driller people to see if they recommended any particular solar well pump. The man told me he couldn’t believe how many solar and hand pumps he’d been installing on existing wells for people.
That’s pretty indicative.

Well then...We can't allow ourselves to believe the narrative that Swowden is the bad guy in this. Greenwald keeps on threatening to "release" earth-shattering info, but still hasn't. At this rate of degradation of trust of our guv, we all need to know just how evil they are before it's either too late or it doesn't matter....
Moreover, LE and the US military need to know that they are on the side of righteousness....and NOT just pawns in some political game.

Greenwald is sounding more and more like your basic wannabe drama queen. Serious case of the look-at-me syndrome. Pretty soon hes gonna have to put something in front of his mouth.I agree. He's been teasing us with the "SOMETHING HUGE!" is going to be released. That said, we can be sure he and his are being threatened.

So the bottom line is to turn the governments own logic back on itself: You shouldnt mind leaks, if you havent done anything wrong.HA! Nice. "Nothing to hide? Then you shouldn't worry about us popping open your trunk."

“Snowden documents could be ‘worst nightmare’ for U.S.”
I can’t remember the last time I equated something “bad for the US” with “bad for me & mine”; if the US has become a godless Obamocracy, then I don’t care much what happens to it.
The US is a better place because of Snowden (whatever his motives); Obama has lost credibility with the left.

Im thinking he has papers proving that Dear Leader is not who he says he is. That would throw the US govt into a chaotic seizure. Wouldnt that be interesting?Yup. Now THAT would be a Game-Changer.

And the phrase, "Bad for US government" MUST mean "good for US people."
Moreover, as a Godless, Commie/Fascist version of the USSR/Germany, 1938, how and why should there be any sense of patriotism to THAT nation which bears absolutely NO resemnlance to the Founders' America -- much less the USA of 1980.

Perhaps a plan to open closed military bases for the purpose of using them as “reeducation camps” for Christian “extremists” and conservatives - extreme right wingers . . . like us.

A nation just cannot put blind faith in a government which cannot be trusted anymore. I truly believe a nation can and a nation does when viewed in the context of all history. Countless times. Our nation's people are simply the ones that constantly refrain the words .. it can't happen here.

If he can show that Zero was elected after it was known by the Elite that he was a foreign born citizen that could be what I’m looking for— a complete clean out of both Houses and the USSC. Then we could install a government by the and for the people!

Is anyone else wondering what the worst nightmare referred to here could be? It's hard to believe, over a hundred posts and no one has pointed out that it isn't about what the NSA has in storage, it's about what isn't in storage in Fort Knox.

I have a feeling that those involved (Greenwald, etc.) are finding the avenues for publishing being closed off to them, to the point we'll end up seeing them posting it on a blog somewhere (assuming Google or WordPress doesn't take it offline).

Snowden has shown al Qaeda that prior to an operation you need to dial 100s or 1000s of non-operatives to set the NSA, FBI and CIA into exhaustive dead end searches for suspects.
