I used to try to warn people that Troubles were ahead - financial, social breakdown, whatever.

A few listened a little bit and then since nothing “happened” in a year, back to normal.

Since I live way, way far away from any cities (more than a tank of gas), I won’t see too many people. I’ve begged a grown daughter to get fire arm and consider moving here if things get worse but no luck on either one.

Fortunately in my area there’s a fairly large number of like minded people. For instance, about a year or more ago I called the well driller people to see if they recommended any particular solar well pump. The man told me he couldn’t believe how many solar and hand pumps he’d been installing on existing wells for people.

That’s pretty indicative.

Consider a book for your library:"A failure of Civility" as a resource for ANY catastrophy you can imagine.
Designed for group, neighborhood protection
An Excellent investment for problems known , and unknown ..
Not cheap at $35.oo but worth it for tactics and preparation !
