f you thought you couldn't be any more sickened than you already were at the idea that George Zimmerman might actually get away with going out of his way to stalk and then kill an unarmed black teenager who was guilty of nothing more than, well, being an unarmed black teenager, don't go to Gawker today. Alternatively, if you're just not quite upset enough about Trayvon Martin's death and need an image to get yourself all pumped up, then, we suppose, go check out the photo of the 17-year-old's dead body splashed all over prime space on the site's home page right now.
That (if we decide not to be cynical and say he was just after traffic) seems to be author Adam Weinstein's idea. The headline accompanying the photo of the slain teen reads: "This, Courtesy of MSNBC, Is Trayvon Martin's Dead Body. Get Angry." He goes on to explain why he used it:
This is Trayvon Martin's body. These are the last skinny jeans he wore, cuffed once at the bottoms. These are his stylish kicks, his sockless ankles. There are Trayvon's taut neck, his slack jaw, his open eyes.

I feel sickened only about how ignorant people are in regards to what “self-defense” really means and that they don't understand when the “deadly use of force” can be used.

Just looked at the photograph. The dead guys hands aren’t under his body. His arms are stretched out beside him.
I point to him. Read up on the guy. He wanted to be a cop, that’s not a symbol of heroism?

Folks like you ignore the people that George helped and tried to help after they were victimized in the complex, like the young mother with two toddlers who had two black teens break into her home and try to get through the bedroom door to get at her. The sad thing is, George would probably jump in to try and save your smarmy butt if he happened upon you being victimized. But then fools don’t recognize that George doesn’t operate based upon race.

"Badass" - I don't use it in public - only with some family and close friends because they usually are people who say "badass", too! We can be pretty immature at times but its all in good fun and nobody loses an eye! <8^)
Its one of those words that can be taken with humor or can mean degradation or other negative uses. Context.

Some young black men and boys end up in jail or in a grave because of their 'gangsta' ways and black on black crime is never addressed.
Where are the mentors for raising up civil young black men who can prosper and contribute to society? Stripped by poverty pimps, their futures are not bright, to say the least.
Sharpton, Jackson, Rappers....young black males do not need mentoring by such as these.
