"Badass", I use that a lot...it's a positive meaning & funny to me.

EX: Our dogs think they are so badass because they bark and squeal whenever we have someone working on A/C, plumbing, etc.

As someone comes inside the house though, it gets very quiet. Who's the badass then? The worker.

That's true. Thanks for giving me a different slant on the word "badass"!

"Badass" - I don't use it in public - only with some family and close friends because they usually are people who say "badass", too! We can be pretty immature at times but its all in good fun and nobody loses an eye! <8^)

Its one of those words that can be taken with humor or can mean degradation or other negative uses. Context.

It’s more prevalent in country than most other genres or social circles. :)
