Make sure you're 'packing' when the verdict comes down:

Panthers: “This Time We’re Going Out To Whitey’s Suburbs And Burning Down HIS Community”

In preparation for the possibility of an acquittal of George Zimmerman, The New Black Panther Party has reportedly begun a mobilization campaign to target white communities."

"Shabazz, who previously made comments insinuating that he’d like to murder white babies and adults, recently made the shocking claim that he’d “love nothing more than to come home with a cracker’s head in my book bag.”

First, thanks for what you have done with these threads. I have missed quite a bit of this trial and I have 2 questions for you if you would be so kind. 1: Was Massad Ayoob, who is generally recognized as the foremost authority on the use of when/where/how lethal force is allowed and legally justified called by the defense to explain the use of ‘Deadly Force with a firearm’ to the jury? I do know he has testified as an expert in many cases such as this. (Or was another of the ‘experts’ in this area called by the defense). 2: The last 10 years or so the blacks play this ‘game’ called ‘knockout’ where they pick out a weak looking target, sneak up on it and sucker punch him, the goal being a one punch KO. Did anyone from the defense bring this up and the thought that possibly skittles boy knew DAMN well to get in the first blow? Thanks again for your work!

I've commented during the length and breadth of these threads on major things I liked during the trial and things that rubbed me the wrong way.

Just for the sake of conversation and trivia while we wait out the verdict, I want to mention in passing that I have only one minor thing that I observed and that kept my attention throughout. One thing that I did.....and still do.....have a couple of heepbie-jeebies about.

It concerns Zimmerman's demeanor. The man never changed expression from start to finish, never moved any facial muscles, never showed any emotion that was sad, happy, nervous, excited, curious, disgusted, painful, comedic.....you name it.

Only once did I see some human emotion, i.e. when his loyal, steadfast uncle took the stand on behalf of his nephew and the defendant wiped one furtive tear from under his eye.

Now, I know all the comments to the contrary....George is the stoic type by nature, George wanted to look like a pussy cat vs. a killer tiger, George was doing what his attorneys ordered him to do, George didn't want to be a distraction, it's George's heritage and upbringing....whatever.

However, to me he came off as a robot, a Madame Tussaud wax effigy, someone weird that sits like a buddha, never changing expression, never expressing emotion, never even coughing, sneezing, blowing his nose, wiping his brow, scratching his ear, biting his lips.....nada, nothing, zilch....things that any normal person would do at least once in a while over the span of a week or more sitting in a chair.

As I said, mine is just a minor critique, something I noticed from the gitgo given my previous life as a writer trained to watch people, life, personal behavior and events sometimes to the point of minutia. All my comments have been as a passionate Zimmerman defender, a man who's the victim of many levels of government pressure and racist politics.

And....I don't think that the figure of the "automaton" that was the defendant sitting immobile in his chair day after day is going to affect the 6 female jurors in any major way.....but then again.....who knows? It affected me in a certain small way but I'm not a juror in this case.

Still, I kept hoping one of his attorneys would place a loud whoopee-pad on Zimmerman's chair seat after he had to rise for something or other during the tedious times of the trial, but, alas, it was not to be, LOL.

Does ANYONE have any insight and info into the makeup and possible biases of the jury? (OJ Simpson won his trail the instant the all-minority jury was sworn in.)

Mark Levin reports that the jury has adjourned for the evening. They will be back in the morning.

[Am surprised. Thought there would be a quick verdict.]

Talking heads (including attorneys) on tv today kept saying if it’s a hung jury, there will be another trial charging Zimmerman with murdering Martin. So much for double jeopardy.

If the jury is smart, they are going to find him not guilty but not until Monday morning, when all the would-be rioters are asleep. Much after than Friday or Saturday when they are hanging out and drinking.

I’m thinking a guilty verdict by this all female jury, which more likely than not has a Democrat majority and believes the emotional drivel from the prosecution that poor little innocent Trayvon (who looked like Obama’s son) was stalked and attacked by mean old “White Hispanic” George Zimmerman.

Have you seen this?

July 13, 2013
“State Attorney Angela Corey fired her office’s information technology director Friday after he testified last month about being concerned prosecutors did not turn over information to George Zimmerman’s defense team in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.”

The longer the jury takes the worse it is for GZ. At some point it may be in his favor to have a hung jury and a mistrial declared. I can’t imagine that the Prosecution would be prepared to put on this show again. A deal for probation or some minor jail time might end up as the solution to this case. Of course, that will not satisfy the minions who feel he should swing from a rope on the courthouse steps.
