I was just thinking....this might be the last night GZ has to be with his family/wife.....ever.
I was on a jury once and the case involved a repeat DWI offender. The evidence was overwhelming that the guy was wasted beyond belief. One young female juror holdout wanted to vote not guilty. Her reasoning was....
“There have been times when I have been blasted out of my mind and I would hate to have to go to jail for that.”
She was convinced by the rest of us.
that is just so sad!! America has died!
I’ve been gone all afternoon... Just read the jury is going to continue deliberations tomorrow? what time?
Anything else would have happened already.
This is just "We'll sleep on it"...Something we all do.
There's something wonderful about a sunrise.
Not if the jury looks at the evidence. No way in the world they can not find Zimmerman innocent. The prosecution sounded like the defense and the defense sounded like the prosecution. They had no case at all.
Very interesting insight. I had not understood why many blacks in prison are recruited to Islam. Justifying hate through religion...hmmmmm
Thanks. I can’t believe the entire State felt 6 jurors would suffice.
I don’t know the reason, but for a capital crimes/trials, there’s twelve jurors.
I so hope you are RIGHT!!!
yes
Isn’t this a capital crime?
No death penalty
They are meeting at 9am...
okay, so now it’s over.
You’re post put a big smile on my face....thank you...and I PRAY you are right...
Great stories about John Cage.
When I was 12 or 13 I was into modern classical music, the more avant-garde the better. My contemporaries were into rock music. Of course I knew all about John Cage.
One of the proudest moments of my youth was winning a special prize given at a lecture for a group of young musicians. It was awarded for being the only person to correctly identify the instrument in a recording played for the audience—it was John Cage playing a prepared piano.
Nowadays, many years later, I listen to rock music, not John Cage. What this says about my musical taste I don’t want to know...
can lose weight,’shave his head, wear glasses, grow a beard, color it, whole host of things. i would still move up north anywhere way up north.
birdshot is a stingy deterrent.
I just have a sick feeling that that 6 woman jury is no way going to let George off with all the Lib pressure on them.
