A 27-year veteran of the Utah Air National Guard said he was reprimanded after he wrote a letter objecting to a gay wedding in the West Point chapel and was later told to prepare for retirement because his personal beliefs about homosexuality were not compatible with the militarys policies.
The military is trying to make examples of people who have religious beliefs that homosexual conduct in the military is wrong, said John Wells, an attorney representing TSgt. Layne Wilson. The end game is to force conservative Christians out of the military.
Last December Wilson wrote a letter to a person believed to be a chaplain at West Point. He stated his displeasure at news of a same-sex ceremony held in the Cadet Chapel.
This is wrong on so many levels, Wilson wrote. If they wanted to get married in a hotel that is one thing. Our base chapels are a place of worship and this is a mockery to God and our military core values. I have proudly served 27 years and this is a slap in the face to us who have put our lives on the line for this country. I hope sir that you will take appropriate action so this does not happen again.

The corporate interests that in fact control most of the nation's wealth are falling all over themselves to promote the latest PC-trash, no matter how ridiculous, extreme, or unsavory. "We" control? I don't.
I was reading another thread where my state has imposed gender-neutral language in all official documents as a part of thought-crimes and those were exactly the words I thought to myself.
We are in so much trouble
The Nazis had such units and they were among the most vicious in their military. I wouldn't be quick to write them off.. Obama's remade military will happily put down any uprising of Americans against Dear Leader that is not sufficiently broad and well planned.

Liberalism will be the only religion allowed in the military.

Right with you.
My son just graduated high school and is an Eagle Scout.
Doesn’t drink, smoke or do anything I did as a kid. (thankfull) He really wants to give back to his country by joining up with the US Army. I am really torn. I joined the US Marines in 1979. My father was a medic with the US Army in Korea. My grandfather was an infantry officer in WWI. We have a long history in the military.
My gut feeling is to tell him to avoid the military based on the current leadership we have. Don’t know what to do at the moment.
What they need is to stay out of the state-establishment bidness.

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?
You are correct...what a dilemma...can’t see it getting any better in the near future even if it is chosen to be turned around. Sounds like you have a fine son.
It isn't any more, and I was USAF for 20 years. That, of course, doesn't mean that many in the military are not admirable, but the politically correct A holes running the show, seem not to be. I have told my son that I do not want him to go into the military, because of the A holes in charge.
Good on the vet.
another thought-crime!

Exactly.

Even then, it’s mostly RINO and spineless.

No.
They must be tried for malfeasance and violation of their sacred oaths. Upon conviction, they should be offered the option of a life of exile or life imprisonment.
