"They will use every ridiculous antiquated law even âstalkingâ because you decided to go there. Its a micro picture of our nation. Staycations are the only way to be safe."
Agreed. Tourist trap politicians, favorite constituents and administrators do all that they recently can to promote their areas as being old-fashioned, all-American, quaint, etc. But whether in the mountains or near the shores, they're the real mob. And anyone going to such places with money is looking for big trouble.

I am glad that the judge has ruled out this (downright silly) option.
What I continue to fear, however, is that the jury may decide upon a "compromise" verdict; and find Zimmerman guilty of manslaughter, rather than second-degree murder.
And this, I believe, would be a travesty. For either he is guilty of second-degree murder or he is entirely innocent (depending upon whom one believes).
I tend to think the latter is more likely. And I certainly cannot imagine that one might believe that Zimmerman is guilty of murder beyond all reasonable doubt.
But I would very much dislike any attempt to split the baby here...

This judge needs to be investigated by the Florida Judicial Qualification Commission for incompetence at the very least. Her malfeasance in this case is beyond the pale, even for Flori-DUH and I'm a lifelong born and raised citizen of this fair state. She makes me ashamed to say that, a little.

I still say that a 20 oz can of ANYTHING is a weapon.Growing up in Sacramento, I remember one Halloween, there was a group of older teen Holder's People that went around stealing kid's candy bags. One of them ran up behind me and whacked me with a soda can in a pillow case. I went down hard, and he grabbed my candy. I was in middle school. That was the last time I went out trick-or-treating.
Thanks, I almost forgot about that. I'll add it to my long list of crimes I was a victim of in CA.

Dont go to Florida, that is the message from all this publicity It isn't Florida, it's America. You are kidding yourself if you think this would not have come down the same way most anywhere else.

Where did Jebbie find this judge? Where did Ford find John Paul Stevens, who according to Ford was his greatest achievement in office. Is Nelson Jebbie’s biggest achievement? Will he put her on the Supreme Court in 2017?

'most anywhere else'??? Zimmerman would be sitting in a California State prison the rest of his life if this had happened there. I do think the outcome of this is good for law-abiding Florida residents, and would make the gang thugs a bit skiddish about doing MMA beat downs on those merely engaged in wanting their communities to be safe. This is a wake-up call to the 'purple drank' set.
If you completely remove 'race' from this case, Trayvon STILL made the fatal mistake of bouncing the skull of an armed person. His parents made the HUGE mistake of not emphasizing that there's Concealed Carry permits in his midst.
