As expected, the Judge in the George Zimmerman case ruled that in addition to Second Degree Murder, she will instruct the jury on the lesser included offense of Manslaughter, as required by Florida case law.
In a surprise move this morning, the prosecution asked the Judge to drop the Aggravated Assault charge and to instruct the jury on Third Degree Murder, which is murder in the course of committing a felony.
The felony the State wanted as the predicate was Aggravated Child Abuse (Jury Instruction) because Trayvon Martin was 17 at the time of the shooting.
According to Don West, the defense was not notified until 7:30 a.m. this morning.
This surprise is important because the defense did not have time to research the law, while the State presented numerous cases. Generally it is not a defense to child abuse that the perpetrator did not know the age of the victim. This is an unusual circumstance, however, where Zimmerman was punched in the nose and the “child” was on top punching him — to say that excessive use of force in defense of an attack by a “child” is child abuse certainly requires some time to research and argue. I don’t know the answer to that legal question, but the court should give the defense time to research and argue it. (Update 11:35 a.m. — Judge just indicated she will give defense time to research, but didn’t indicate how long until 1 p.m.)

I wanted to say this is just local incompetence, but it is clear (especially after the DOJ revelations yesterday) that this is national. And it is ridiculous at every level.
I have lost what little respect I had left for our federal government. They are no more professional or competent than the government of Sudan. Though some may accuse me of stating the obvious, because it certainly is now.

If he is acquitted, I doubt they will be able to try in again in a criminal court. Unfortunately our system allows double jeopardy via the civil courts which have a lower standard of proof.

Then Zimmerman’s defense should appeal any decision immediately to a higher court before the case even goes to the jury.
I don’t think whites would riot, but I suggest if Zimmerman is railroaded, EVERY white citizen across the country boycotts black owned businesses—walk into a business and ask right out if the owner is black and voted for Benghazi Barry—if you get an afirmative, walk the hell out.

The evidence prsented in court by the state does not even come close to getting a conviction for any of the crap they are trying to pile on. I think they are trying to poison the well to the point that somehow this never gets to the jury.
I get the feeling the jury is not bought and paid for as some here fear. And that is a problem for “them”.
That’s a good question. This Zim stuff makes me wonder if revolts don’t start as something small. Like an unpopular redevelopment, or a park or a stolen election, or condemnation of an innocent man. With the rule of law completely dead, the right thing to do is rescue Zim by force. That could easily tip us into full scale revolt. The whose will become apparent very quickly. In Florida the focus will be on those holding Zim and those called into to protect their worthless lives. In Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan, etc. patriots will retaliate against anyone who works for the DOJ for spilling the blood of patriots in Florida. Soon LEO’s will be forced to pick sides, then it’ll be on autopilot and we’ll have Civil War.
WHAT will happen? Revolt? Against whom? How? By what means? That has to be discussed because what I see coming is a French-Revolution-Styled-Bloodbath, not a revolt for restoration.
Given the fact that Orlando in next to Sanford, and Orlando has some of the highest crime rates in the country, I would sure hate to see something happen where Disney World, which might cause them to lose hundreds of millions in tourism dollars...

I’ve listened to every televised minute of the trial but I just can’t take any more of Bernie’s bullshit. He is still making stuff up as he goes.
If whites (and others concerned about beating back fascism) are not on the streets, then as I said we deserve what we get.
Individuals who go into businesses and throw a racial hissy fit will get hurt. There is power in numbers.
This is scary...real scary... because a guilty verdict against Zimmerman will mean the government can put any citizen on trial at anytime for any reason if the Regime wants to underline what is or isn’t politically correct.
It would appear the message here is that whites are not to defend themselves from murder by blacks.
