The Michael Hastings Car Crash: No Skids Marks, A Flying Engine And “Boston Brakes”

In cases such as the highly suspicious and tragic car crash/explosion that killed celebrated investigative journalist Michael Hastings, I try to reserve commentary for a little bit to let facts emerge following the initial speculative flurry. Particularly when it involves a journalist with whom I am only slightly familiar. I think we can all agree at this point that based on what has come forward in the past several weeks it is more than likely Mr. Hastings was murdered.

How cute of you, asking for qualifications. You have a long road ahead of you because somethings you will never know if it’s true of not.

Will we ever know what happened about this and other important things in American life?

We don't know already. We don't know about Benzhazi, the IRS, what the attorney general signed to have the right to listening in on calls, etc.

News reporter mentions a key point in that news video (at ZeroHedge):

The engine block was found 150 to 250 feet BEHIND the crashed car.

In other words, the engine “suddenly separated” from the Mercedes while it was moving, then the car traveled another 150-250 feet before crashing (or coming to rest) against the tree.

Anybody who’s taken high school Physics knows the Mercedes cannot impact a tree, then send the engine block 180-degrees BACKWARDS against the direction of travel due to the impact.

That would be some kind of “magic 180-degree ricochet” of a Mercedes engine directly opposite the original direction of travel.

Will CIA produce an “animation video” in the TWA 800 style to “explain what happened?”

Before it’s all over, they’ll run the TWA 800 playbook, and tell us “The Mercedes crashed after bad wiring caused the center fuel tank to explode, after which the Mercedes gained another 2,000 feet of altitude before changing its mind and plummeting back to earth.... and here’s the CIA animated video to prove it. Oh, and ignore all the witnesses.”

If FBI/NSA are reading this, please note: “People are stupid, but they’re not THAT stupid.”

I asked for either a source or qualifications. I don’t think that is too much to ask for on an internet forum of someone making a claim of facts. If you haven’t got either, then it isn’t worth discussing.

News reporter got it wrong, the engine was found south of the crash, and the car was going south:

I believe that the C-class is designed to eject the engine in the event of a crash.

LOL. What's that; the slip and fall lawyer full employment plan? There's a Mercedes patent out there for the engine to slide under the pedals and the floor at impact.

That's a journalist's phones may have been tapped?

Besides nothing is worth discussing with someone so ill equipped for discussion; and in this case, there is nothing to discuss.

“That’s a journalist’s phones may have been tapped?”

Anyone’s phones “may” have been tapped. “May” doesn’t tell us anything one way or the other. If you don’t have any evidence that it happened, then its pretty much irrelevant.

“May” doesn’t tell us anything

Pay attention. You've made it clear no one can tell you anything. And what is irrelevant is your post.

Now you 'may' have a good day or you 'may' have the worst day of your life.

Anyone can easily tell me anything, I just won’t put any stock in it if they can’t back it up with a source.

I getting sick of you defenders of crime, Boogieman. Are you a government agent? There is evidence all around.

Hmm... someone is skeptical of unsubstantiated claims, therefore, they must be a government agent! That’s not paranoid thinking, at all...

I think it’s more of someone who enjoys going through life being contrary for attention purposes - because there isn’t much thought behind it’s posts.

And notice unsubstantiated - there is much substance to back up their claim but there is NO substance to Martin being anything but a thug.

I have no idea who you are. I will question and possible item. If I was paranoid, I would be to afraid to ask the question. I have no fear.

Amazing that this has been so hushed up. One of their own and no media drama. I guess they have their orders.

Paranoid thinking doesn’t mean someone is afraid of asking questions, in fact it is quite the opposite. Paranoids tend to question everything, because they are mistrustful and suspicious even when there is no cause to be. Hence, if someone doesn’t agree with their conspiratorial thinking, they suspect that person must be “in on it”.
