Here’s Obama's 'Smart' Government at Work
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 07/09/2013 | IBD Staff

ObamaCare: The president brags about how he's bringing smart, 21st century technology to government. But the news surrounding that talk provides a showcase for how inept his administration is when it comes to IT.

'We've made huge swaths of your government more efficient and more transparent, and more accountable than ever before," President Obama claimed Monday.

But the very next day, AP reported that a "computer system problem" has caused his administration to delay yet another piece of ObamaCare for at least a year.

I guess when you are born with defective DNA, changing the calculation for a “smoker premium up charge” in a database would seem like insurmountable rocket science.

Anyone who knows anything about databases would know this could have been fixed in under a minute.

Will the American people ever get it through their collective thick skulls that lawyers, trained to be skilled liars and deceivers, should be the very last people we elect to positions of power?

Not only is this vile POS a disgraced lawyer (redundant I know but he even had to surrender his license to practice law for some unknown reason) but a lawyer attempting to make decisions based on technology which have ABSOLUTE truths.

Try programming a computer with the grey, dishonest lawyer logic and see if it will do anything.

I don’t think so!

Let me guess — they’re all thinking “out of the box” in an Agile circle jerk in which no compartment of the collective is responsible for more than their “Fair Share”?

They just need more meetings to decide when their meetings should be.

What do you think the XBox generation was trained to be?

It's all just a system to be gamed... by an entire generation of liars and deceivers that was bred by another generation of liars and deceivers whose goal in life was to "Recreate" their '68 glory days - because the original '68 was such a stunning near-success.

“We’ll have a card to ‘prove’ you have ‘health insurance’.”

“Health ‘care’ is another story.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Yes, your card will be as useful as a title to a new car which has no transmission. You will be able to sit in it, listen to the radio, turn on the air conditioner, rev up the engine and consume a lot of expensive gasoline but you will have to walk if you want to actually go somewhere. I really don’t know why anyone thought for one minute that the “affordable health care act” had ANYTHING to do with affordable health care.

If the government passed an “affordable fine dining act” it would require that everyone live on gruel which would cost a thousand dollars a pint and blood pudding which would cost ten thousand dollars a pound. Dining would be neither fine nor affordable and that is exactly what should have been expected with the healthcare act.

No. You’ll be locked in it and the radio will be listening to you.

Any complaints will be recorded and penalties for complaining immediately levied into your IRS “Health” account.

I work in IT. Any major project, especially one run by the government, is going to be a cluster-you-know-what. It’s the one thing that gives me hope about the NSA. There’s a nightmare system, in every conceivable way.

IMHO, and I am brilliant, mother tells me so, AHC will be the craze in DC until the global warming camel gets its nose under our tents, then watch out!

The taxation sky is the limit. When the goofs in DC realize there is nothing in it for them with this AHC, interest in it will fall faster than Madonna’s undergarment at an NBA players reunion, and they will be off to the real scam.

Carbon taxes. Yeah, that’s it!

Yes databases are easy to manipulate data even as complicated as, if you are 50 plus years or a birth date, then this is the percentage charge more. But then again they could be using a spreadsheet for their database or perhaps Windows Explorer.

Not to detract from an excellent post, but obama is simply the poster child of this monstrosity. This thing has been lurking in the dark recesses of the democrat party coffers for YEARS; tweaked here and there in silence and designed to bring America to its knees and into servitude.
Blaming obama is letting scores of evil individuals and special interest groups (read communists) off the hook. What should be demanded is who the hell crafted the thing in the first place and what is their intent (it will have to be spelled out for the lo-info voter). We can't count on the SCOTUS or the GOP to kill the thing and looking at the landscape in DC these days I am hard pressed to find a single patriot to rise up and rescue a failing nation.

To: IBD editorial writer; All

With the IRS in charge of Obama’care,’ the United States of America will become totally controlled by corrupt politicians at the Federal level, IOW we will be a Communist State.

We need to create as much civil disobedience as legally possible, because our sorry RINOs will not Impeach Obama for violations of the US Constitution or Dereliction of Duty.

Communist Tyrant B. Hussein Obama has no intention of allowing the US Congress to interfere with Obama’s selective implementation of the Anti-Trust violations of Obama’care.’

Obama will use HIS Bureaus, HIS Executive Orders, and HIS Military to “preserve, protect and defend” Obama’care’ in order to insure the complete financial destruction of The United States of America, by “Fundamentally changing the United States of America.”

If anyone wants to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

Post 128 of the Action Thread is a summary of the history of Agenda 21, “what they are doing”, “what to do about it” and a good bibliography for further reading.
