I hope he supports Gregg Abbott to fill the post. That's who I support!

I’ve been reading some posts lately from Texas and it seems many in the political system and business system are comfortable with the presence of cheap illegal labor in the state.
So its no wonder Perry would support in state tuition.
My state senator here in PA introduced a bill recently to do the same thing.
I suspect its because there are a lot of agricultural businesses in his district that may use labor from outside the country.

I would love to have Abbott for Governor. But if that happens, we have lost one of the best AG’s in the U.S. Because of our political system, the AG does actually have more authority than the Governor.
Just doesn’t seem to me that there is anyone waiting in the wings to take Abbott’s place.

Have you ever seen the man with his dogs? Many times. He tried to get me to adopt one he had with him at a book signing a few years back. Already had too many at the house at the time. ;o)

I just hope Ted Cruz doesn't eye the governorship of the Great State of Texas. Senator Cruz may not be my official Imperial Senator, (I'm in Florida and I'm stuck with Space Cadet Bill Nelson and Benedict Rubio. Also the crazy Hat Lady Frederica Wilson is my CONgress critter. Please pray for me.) and he's the only one I send my gripes to anymore. It's pretty apparent that the people who are supposed to be sucking up to me for my vote could care less whether I live or die. :)

Good riddance, Governor Jefferson D’Arcy.
Lots of fawning over AG Greg Abbott. Thoughts?

I think he’ll continue to keep Texas at the top of the mark
where business and entrepreneurial opportunities and lower
taxes are concerned!
Best of everything to Governor Rick Perry! He has kept us
free and at work in our great state...no matter what the
nay-sayers moan about!

Ditto.
Abbott is actually much MORE conservative than Perry.

The thing people don’t get about immigration is that technically the people coming here from Mexico are not the same Mexicans of the ruling class. Most that come here are indians more than they are Mexicans. The Mexicans (the Castillians and German descendants that run Mexico) want to get rid of them as bad as we do. That is why they whine when we talk about strengthening the border.

Art imitating life or vice versa?!?!
President Perry will be a breathe of fresh air...like a fart downwind from a smelting plant.
