Atlantic Southeast Airlines, an Atlanta-based Delta connection regional carrier, recently made aviation history when one of its flights from Atlanta to Nashville was conducted by a crew comprised entirely of African-American women. This landmark event which happened by chance comes on the tail end of Black History Month.
It's late but interesting to me in that I never saw a mention of these women anywhere, but there's plenty of free Obama phone ranters and race baiters in the news everyday.

Meet Captain Rachelle Jones and F.O Stephanie Grant. They fly for Delta's regional carrier Southeast Atlantic.
To tell you the truth, I am sick and damned tired of hearing anything that starts with “First black (anything).”
Who the hell cares? “What difference does it make at this point?”
Does this mark the end of “diversity”?
Maybe thats because this flight crew is actually earning what they take home, idiot.
Who flies the plane when they start doing the neck thing, then proceed to screaming the B word at each other and fighting?
Yeah, that’s what I want, a crew that I have to wonder if they’re in their position due to affirmative action / gender preference.
Worked so well with the president.
Great!
At least it appears to have been happenstance and not a contrived publicity stunt.
Note to self...
I’m with you. To liberals, a “color blind” society is blind to everything but ‘color’.
They’re probably quite proficient.
Unlike our ivy league lib arts schools of idiocy, and even more unlike our standards for congresscritters and presidents, there are still standards for becoming a licensed transport pilot.
To add, I think this proves that blacks, like anyone else, CAN learn, CAN work hard, CAN make the right choices in life, and CAN earn their own living doing things that white people do all the time, if given the chance.
So, how about we end welfare now and give ALL blacks a chance to do the same as these two respectable women have done?
Yaaawwwwwwwwwwnnnnnn! ZZZZzzzzzzzz. Wake me up when the first transgendered male now woman cross dresses for her lesbian lover in the second seat. THAT - that will be “progress”. A Day to Remember.
I don’t have any qualms about them per se other than the frigging hyping of “the significance of the event.”
We have a black President, we have a black Attorney General, we have black black black everything, even preferred justice and non-prosecution if you read online where the truth exists (unlike mass media).
Just plain ass sick of it.
Call me a racist but whenever I see a black doctor...lawyer...cop...fireman...or pilot,I wonder to myself “qualified,or affirmative action?”.
To tell you the truth, I am sick and damned tired of hearing anything that starts with First black (anything).
Who the hell cares? What difference does it make at this point?
i’m just wondering what kind of chance you’re taking to be 3 thousand feet up if they were hired using a low threshold of affirmative action.
So special! Another national holiday to ensue? The way the media treats blacks who achieve reminds me of the people at the finish line cheering on runners in the Special Olympics.
