Is the GOP Ready to Give Up on Latino Voters?
Univision ABC ^ | 7/3/13 | JORDAN FABIAN

Has the moment for immigration reform passed?

There's a school of thought growing within the GOP that argues the party doesn't need to win over Latino voters as badly as it needs to expand its popularity among white voters.

-snip-

Major Republican donors remain adamant in their desire to see Congress pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill. They see the demographic reality that the national electorate is becoming less white, and they're firm in the belief that the GOP needs to connect with a more diverse universe of voters.

Groups funded by such donors are preparing a concerted effort to persuade influential House Republicans to get on board with immigration reform. And they're also working to ensure Republicans who already support it get adequate political cover. Groups like the American Action Network, backed by GOP impresario Fred Malek, and Americans for a Conservative Direction are spending serious cash on TV ads defending Marco Rubio for his work on the Senate immigration bill.

I have no use or respect for the Latino voter, the black voter, the hispanic voter, the SSAD voter... as all hyphenated Americans will always be lessor Americans and in reality, traitors to the Founders and this country.

If your culture, race mean that much to you that you define yourself with every waking moment as a xyz-American, then do us all a favor go to where you are a majority. We not only don’t need you but we don’t want you changing what once made us great and now is becoming a distant memory hidden behind all the clatter of every sub culture known to mankind.

The more the GOP chases “Latino” voters the more of them they will lose. If the GOP promoted Constitutional principles, focussing on deregulation and detaxification, they would get more Legal Citizen voters. Chasing the Illegals, which is what trying for the “Latino vote” really is pushes the legal citizens away and does not gain one single Illegal vote. No matter what the GOP says or does the Democrats are the proper Socialist Party and the GOP is, at most, an imitation copy. The socialist minded wetback losers understand this very well and vote accordingly. Besides, It is the Democrats who secure and protect the millions of Illegals’ votes that are already happening.

“Look you ass hat latinos, you will never, EVER vote GOP and quit this psych propaganda.”

So true! The politician is ever in search of ways to stay in office, and if that has to be at the expense of legal citizens, so be it. I submit that we know what the RATs are and what they stand for, but the Republicans are far worse because we don’t regard them as the enemy too. With a few notable exceptions, they will sell out “their constituents” at the drop of a hat if they can see how it benefits them personally. Just take a look at how they have all become wealthy while “toiling in the public service.” We could replace all of them with “street people” and be no worse off, and perhaps better because it would take them a generation to learn how to screw us effectively.

If the GOP decides to lead the charge in killing immigration reform in 2013, it's likely to feel the consequences in in 2014, and for a long time after.

So says the last sentence in the posted article. Looks like this entire piece could have been dictated to ABC and Univision by Chuckie Schumer or one his Democrat Senate colleagues, who condescendingly act as if they are telling Republicans what the best interests of the GOP are, while in reality they are only interested in destroying their political opposition.

Anything resembling the bill passed by the Senate will mean a total disaster for the country and the future of the Republican Party!!!

As Michael Savage has said (in the sense that "diversity" is used by the Left), DIVERSITY IS PERVERSITY!!!

The GOP isn’t going to win the White House, so the concern needs to be directed away from politics and toward what’s best for the country... and that amnesty bill isn’t remotely close to it.

This pee’s me off.

RE :” Is the GOP Ready to Give Up on Latino Voters?

Has any of these amnesty pushers like Grahamnesty honestly discussed what it will take to get Hispanic voters to vote GOP?? The answer is NO. Then how can we sign on or give up?? They want a blank check.

Rubio says they shouldn't make policies that have getting Hispanics vote GOP as the objective.

McCain and Rubio always frame it in the negative : ‘If we don't pass immigration reform then...’. They never actually claim that it will get anyGOP votes.

They make no promises, just threats.

Democrats run the most liberal guy they can find - then they turn to Republicans and in soft sweet tones say, “here’s some advice - run a moderate so you don’t offend people’.

And our stupid GOP leaders believe them.

Well, it won’t just be ‘some of us’ staying home if the GOP runs a ‘moderate’ again or decides to run after the unicorn (black and hispanic) vote - it’ll be millions of us...

And NO I don’t care if staying home means we lose - because if we do ‘the stupid’ again we’ll lose anyhow. Might as well stay home and let them have it. And they can take our House and Senate Republicans with them.

If Gays or Blacks had the IRS targeting them for two years, dems would have stepped in to defend them. When the IRS targeted conservatives our elected blowhards didn’t do squat.

That’s what we owe them. Not squat. Nothing.

July 10th is Boehner's Amnesty Conference. Marching orders will be issued and purge threats will be made by the GOP "leadership".

See FR thread House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte On What Immigration Reform Might Look Like

I don’t believe any GOP POTUS candidate, including GWB, ever got 40% of Latinos. That 2004 40-something % was based on an outlier poll.

ANYTHING PASSED IN THE HOUSE will look like the Senate bill when it leaves the Seante/House Conference... we know this because those in the House that know, spilled this boner-fied boneheaded plan about 3 weeks ago. No amnesty bill at all or there will be a new FREEDOM PARTY.

Well, I am retired clergy, so I can’t take lower salary than pension and social security. But I can vote for canidates that support the judeo-christian values that formed this country.
In my line of work you have to die to self and be born again in Jesus. And I think the modern Republican party with all those special intrests and a whole lot of big money folks who are E-Gop do not have our intrests at heart. So the Grand Old Party may need to go the way of the dead old Whig party and perhaps a new conservative party may rise up like a Phoenix.
God save the Republic because I dont think the current party structure will
