George W. Bush on Gay Marriage, Immigration, and Why Obama Kept His Terrorism Policies
ABC News ^ | 7/7/2013 | Chris Good

President George W. Bush cautioned against criticizing gay couples, saying in an interview on “This Week” that you shouldn’t criticize others “until you’ve examined your own heart.”

Bush had waded into the revitalized same-sex marriage debate last week - if only barely - in a comment to a reporter in Zambia, who asked whether gay marriage conflicts with Christian values.

“I shouldn’t be taking a speck out of someone else’s eye when I have a log in my own,” Bush said last week.

In an interview in Tanzania with ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl, the former president explained his comment further.

“I meant it’s very important for people not to be overly critical of someone else until you’ve examined your own heart,” Bush told Karl.

As president, Bush opposed gay marriage, and Republicans pushed ballot measures to ban it at the state level. The topic has seen rejuvenated discussion after the Supreme Court overturned the federal ban on same-sex marriage, the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

“It's what their whole gay “marriage” tantrum is about.
There's a reason kids today still use phrases like, “That's so gay,” as a deragatory comment. It has nothing to do with their upbringing or home environment, and is actually in direct contradiction to what the government schools relentlessly beat into them. Even the constant efforts of the decadent movie / television / news-soundbite culture to “normalize” homosexuality fail miserably when it comes to children.

No. Kids understand naturally, instinctively, that there is just something sick about a man pushing his penis into another man's anus full of turd. It's one of those things nobody needs to teach, and it is why homos instinctively feel ashamed of what they are and what they do, and why they suffer the tears of a clown even as they march with fake smiles in fake “pride” parades.”

I've heard all my kids tease each other and their friends go back and forth about being “gay.” Never, ever have I heard any of them react to the label with a sense of pride. You're right. They do instinctively know it isn't natural The Pride parades are an attempt to force acceptance

President George W. Bush cautioned against criticizing gay couples, saying in an interview on “This Week” that you shouldn’t criticize others “until you’ve examined your own heart.”

That is awfully disingenuous President Bush... GOD’s word says THIS about "examining your own heart":

Psalm 4.4

Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.

The Bible tells us that for man to lie with man and woman to lie with woman is abomination and therefore sin. Examine your own heart Mr. Bush.

GOD commands that:

Leviticus 18:22

King James Version (KJV)

22 “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

Even the devil can quote scripture Mr. Bush.

In an interview in Tanzania with ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl, the former president explained his comment further.

“I meant it’s very important for people not to be overly critical of someone else until you’ve examined your own heart,” Bush told Karl.

It is also VERY IMPORTANT for for people to heed GOD’s Word to avoid eternity in hell... Mr. Bush... but even more importantly... that we follow GOD’s laws to please HIM and not ourselves... Mr. Bush.

Nobody attends homo parades except other homos, and liberals and teenagers looking for a freak show to laugh at. Those "parades" are all about an attempt by homos to try to convice themselves they're okay. They look around and see a crowd of pathetic souls just like them and they are comforted. Misery enjoys company.

As long as they leave me out of it and don't get laws passed forcing me to "Celebrate Perversity."

Incest is self-limiting behavior. I trust that Mother Nature will take care of it.

It appears that GWB is setting the stage for his coming out of the closet party.

Will Obama and GWB tie the knot?

Never forget this idiot GWB sat in that FL kindergarten with a blank stare on his mug AFTER he was informed of the WTC planes strike.
I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there that share your thoughts on that.  I have some mixed thoughts on it.  Should he have shot up out of his chair and motor-caded out of there immediately?  Perhaps so.  I will admit to supporting him staying there and cooly addressing what had taken place the way he did.  There are times when the President needs to be seen.  This could be argued to have been one of those moments.  His staff having to position his travel across town, may have needed a few moments to tweak things because of the change in launch window.  Perhaps his aide said, "We'll be leaving shortly, but it will be a few short minutes until we're ready."  They may have wanted to call in more support due to the unknown nature of the full scale of the attacks that day.

Idiot GWB proposed appointing arch NWO creep Kissenger to lead the investigation of 9/11!
I have no idea why we go back twenty years to pull someone of Kissinger's age in, to do something like this.  Have we no qualified persons from this generation?  Just weird.

Remember dumbo GWB fell lock, stock & barrel for Hank Paulson’s big lie that allowed the bankers to steal $10 to $20 Trillion of taxpayer dollars!!!
What bothered me more than the initial $680 (approximate) billion Bush requested, was the addition hundreds of billions he set up for Obama to spend just after he came into office.  It was crystal clear by that point that the money would simply be paid to the friends of Obama, to wield influence.

There was what I believed at the time to be a cogent arguement in favor of a bailout of the liquidity markets.  That $680 billion should have more than taken care of it.  As I understand it, more than half that money was left unspent for months after it was approved.  The total amound was sold on the idea that if we didn't do it that day or the next, the nation would crumble.  That was a bald faced lie.

I remain unconvinced we needed to bail anything out after the first month.  I think a case could be made that even that $680 billion was at least 50% too high.  That should have been the end of it.  Instead it just got the ball rolling, and Obama hit the ground throwing money at every friend he could find.  Bush set that up.

The biggest anger I have at any fact relating to this mess, was that Bush had a majority of both houses for six years.  He didn't lift a finger to ward this off.  Instead the man handed off a nation severely damaged to Obama.  The Right was essentially destroyed for two election cycles because of Bush's incompetence.  Now he can't keep his yap shut, when other destructive issues are lofted.  The guy is lucky he wasn't strung up.  In most other nations, he would have been.

Remember dumbo GHWBush hated Reagan and everything he tried to do!

I agree.  Bush essentially started the ball rolling toward dismantling Reagan's legacy.  After this term and the two Clinton terms, good grief...

Bush's New World Odor comments came less than four years after Reagan had rebuilt the U. S. military, and faciliitated the fall of the U. S. S. R., and the Iron Curtain.

Bush couldn't wait to give power to another anti-American cabal.

Oh phooey. Bible-believing Christians don't need to “search their hearts” to criticise sodomy and its proponents, we only need to search the Bible. It's right in there, plainly and unequivocally

Yes, I do. I also remember how the left screeched about the Filipino lady, a nurse, I think, who was murdered by a sodomite. They screeched that she had it coming because she witnessed to him.

And their “right” to force others into complicity with their “celebrations” of their sodomy is in question. The lawsuits they bring against small business owners who don’t want to support their sodomy when they hold events to “celebrate” it.

If the Muslims have anything to say about it, they won’t know what hit them. But let them keep trying to bully Christians into silent complicity.

Well we still don’t need it right now, but you make a good point re who’s reproducing and who’s not. We are paying for the most dysfunctional people to reproduce, while squeezing the middle class, the productive, into having to postpone having kids or never having them. You get what you pay for.
