I just don't see any recourse for us under this Republican Party.
As for a third party taking ten years to become viable, that's not necessarily true. Remembering recent history with Ross Perot, regardless of his motives or beliefs, he was leading in most Presidential polls as an independent in the summer of 1992 prior to self destructing his own campaign.
A successful third party wouldn't require a majority of voters. Anything close to forty percent would be successful. As over 40 percent of voters identify themselves as Conservative, with the right leader(s) and sufficient financial support, it is possible.
The trouble is its one thing to point out all the many defects of the GOP-E and quite another to solve the problem. Just pointing out the problem really doesn’t go far enough.
Unfortunately we won’t get the truth from the DBM until they are almost broke and on their knees.
Than they they will turn to what they should have been doing all along, reporting truth.
Right, if they did not vote for Boehner then Pelosi would win Speakership back
Also, do you think the country has that much time to endure say a hillary for eight years and then try and reassemble whats left of the country? Especially, if amnesty goes through and the left has a permanent majority as well as the ability to manipulate each and every election with so much fraud we are overwhelmed.
Personally, I never imagined that zero and his regime could do as much damage as they have done in a scant eight year and they are not through yet!!
We could be looking at 20/25 trillion in short term debt by 2016 and longer term from 100-150 trillion. Basically, bankrupt. No nation could come back from that.
Are you saying regroup and hope there is a nation to come back to?
Worse yet what happens if we regroup and find a rino contingent working into the party within the first ten years? What then? I"m skeptical to say the least about the potential for a third party. Thirty years ago no problem. Now,things move too fast and we are too far along the pathway to national destruction,IMHO.
If it were 1970 instead of 2013 I wouldn't think twice. Back then a third party, I'd jump for it. Things moved slower then, not these days.
Just look at the evolution of the dear leader. The guy came out of nowhere and is now destroying the country with a communist machine that appears near unstoppable.
I hesitate to explore the possible growth of a third party with so much at stake.
My style of writing is my style and you are welcome to not read it or go places where they write in a more scholarly/boring style. Thanks for the advice, but no thanks.
Pray for America to Wake Up
whether it is 3rd party or getting rid or changing rinos, I think a big underlying problem is a totally biased media.
I recall the old days when newspapers were owned by conservatives (e.g. Richard Melon Scaife in Pittsburg, Perry White in Superman). Somehow they sold out to these raving libs
Now that some conservatives hope to get back in, they are met with horrow from the left and media. Anything Rupert Murdock or the evil Koch (sp?) brothers try to buy, is shot down. Rush looked at defunct Al Gore network and the left howled so much it was sold to Al Jazeera, FCS (fer crying out loud)!
If we can’t seduce or change media, we have to buy it, or find a way to go around it (internet) or mute it
I’m with you Bray. Way to deal with the first critic I think you’ve had on here, in my memory. We like your work.
Brilliant catch here Shalom!
If we don’t start getting our messages out better that we are and stop cry-babying about how the DBM is unfair(surprise, surprise)we are going nowhere anyway.
I like Becks approach. Screw them all and do your own thing.
Don’t know about Sen. Shelby...he’s had some good votes and some bad ones. However, I DO know that the entire state of Texas was once Democrats. There were almost no Republicans. Once Texans began to say, hey, the Democrats left me, I didn’t leave them - just like Ronald Reagan said - then millions of Texans who were once Dems or whose parents/grands etc were Dems, became Republicans.
To use your tortured “logic”, every modern-day Texas Republican is a RINO because their state’s history was with the Democrat party.
Think, man, think.
And other states have that history, not only Texas, of which I believe Alabama is one. Where Shelby is...
We have mods here.Keep it up and you will get an introduction.
Interesting stuff here. Looks like Liz may get in the race for Senate in Wyoming.
precious
Boy, I guess he told me. (whatever it means) Probably some 32 year-old kid posting from his mom's basement.
Yeah, some sort of internet message you only know if you go to certain websites. Whatever.
So much that we post it as a regular feature!
Well put.
Where do you put Hitler on that list..he governed well initially for a brief time, and then his insanity took over..of course the egomaniacle need for power and control was also his undoing.
Stalin, again a very mixed bag..he got Russia from an agrarian society to a highly industrialized society for WW II..but at a terrible cost and then again the power and control was horrible.
will you be doing the Talk circuit?
Bill Bennett in the am..the Glen Beck( a Texan now!)..and the of course Oreilly and fox...to get the word out and the PR.
