If it were 1970 instead of 2013 I wouldn't think twice. Back then a third party, I'd jump for it. Things moved slower then, not these days.
Just look at the evolution of the dear leader. The guy came out of nowhere and is now destroying the country with a communist machine that appears near unstoppable.
I hesitate to explore the possible growth of a third party with so much at stake.
whether it is 3rd party or getting rid or changing rinos, I think a big underlying problem is a totally biased media.
I recall the old days when newspapers were owned by conservatives (e.g. Richard Melon Scaife in Pittsburg, Perry White in Superman). Somehow they sold out to these raving libs
Now that some conservatives hope to get back in, they are met with horrow from the left and media. Anything Rupert Murdock or the evil Koch (sp?) brothers try to buy, is shot down. Rush looked at defunct Al Gore network and the left howled so much it was sold to Al Jazeera, FCS (fer crying out loud)!
If we can’t seduce or change media, we have to buy it, or find a way to go around it (internet) or mute it
Seeing that I believe they've been willing enablers, it's not logical to assume they will be willing to role back any of these transitions. I believe both parties would love to see Conservatism dead and buried.
The only means to reform is either by taking over either party or by forming a new party. The latter, though tough, seems to be the only option.
