U.S. spending now includes farm bill for cold storage projects
Although the House and Senate remain in a stalemate over what to cut or keep in the controversial Farm Bill, the Obama administration is proceeding with its own plan for farmers in Kenya.
The East Africa Regional Construction initiative overall could cost U.S. taxpayers $210 million.
Pack-house and cold-storage facility construction appropriate to the Kenyan rural environment is the first step, according to a Request for Proposals from contractors that WND discovered via routine database research.

His hate for Americans and the Western world in general, is REALLY showing now.
Why does the Congress allow this flop of a president the right to write hot checks all over the world? They certainly don’t intend to fund all these Santa Claus programs, do they?
I betcha a huge chunk of this money will find its way into 0zero’s bank account in a round about way.
The USA exists to help Muslims feel good about themselves (via NASA) and to help eliminate all bad things from the continent of Africa. No price is too great! We can do it! Yes we can!!
You know I wouldn’t care if he used HIS money, but I’m really getting fed up with him F’ing over AMERICANS for every piss a** country and muslim group in the world! If there is not enough for our people at home than cut the payola to other countries. Putin wants to look good, let Russia bankroll everybody.
Where the hell is he getting all the money he is passing out like Halloween candy? He has promised something like $5 BILLION since he got to Africa shih is turning out to be the most expensive vacation in the history of the world.

Meanwhile, two weeks ago I was camping along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The grass was knee high up to the edge of the Parkway. The campgrounds had not been mowed and there was trash in the grass. The roads in the campgrounds were filled with potholes. Along the Parkway a number of visitors centers, campgrounds, and other facilities were closed due to the sequester. Most of these facilities in the past were operated by volunteers, not park service employees.
Meanwhile we send billions in military aid to Egypt, promise billions to build power plants in Africa, spend untold billions fighting AIDS in Africa.
He won’t need it. He’ll get hundreds of thousands of dollars per speaking engagement just like Clinton is is now worth up to $80 million.
Is this payback for them keeping quiet on his birth records?
Where does Obama get all this money to piss away?
He pledged $7 billion to "doubling Africa's power". At the same time, he is shutting down at least fifty coal-fired power plants in the USA.
Obviously, Africans don't have enough wall plugs in their mud huts...and it's our fault.
“..Meanwhile we send billions in military aid to Egypt, promise billions to build power plants in Africa, spend untold billions fighting AIDS in Africa..”
:::::::::::::::::
Why? Hate.
All this money is going to buy are new Villas and Yachts for a few at the top in Kenya
And for our money, we get more WAR, more AIDS, and No electricity.
The answer is in your bathroom mirror.
Not in my mirror. Maybe yours but not mine.
Let’s see, our mincing Nancy BOY from Nairobi flits about the planet dropping billions of our dollars on his co-cultic goatsuckers while our economy stays in the tank. Crickets from the pink-tie weeper man [Boehner] and his ilk. Obama’s line-bred Muzzie - that would be Morsi, is now angling for a job as doorman at the Mayflower. Certain members of the loyal opposition [Tea Party] are pitching several lucrative offers to the Egyptian Army general who took down Morsi. They want his assistance in taking down another ‘democratically elected’ muzzie thug. And the beat goes on.
Maybe he wants to dismantle the coal fired power plants here and ship them to Africa. Does Africa have coal reserves.
I don’t mean that in a hostile way but I can’t explain why it isn’t my money.
