Obamacare is so helpful, so ready for action, so vital to the nations health, that the Obama Administration is delaying another major part of it.
News broke yesterday that the Administration is delaying the employer mandate, which would force businesses with 50 or more full-time workers to provide government-approved insurance, until 2015.
When Obamacare was engineered, the Administration and its allies in Congress made sure that the major parts affecting all Americans would be delayed until after the 2012 presidential election. Now, however, the Obama Administration is delaying one of the most well-known elements of Obamacare until after the 2014 midterm congressional election.
Douglas Holtz-Eakin, the former director of the Congressional Budget Office, described the announcement as deviously brilliant, even as Obamas senior adviser Valerie Jarrett assured people that this merely means the Administration is listening to our concerns.
But Obamacare bombshells are dropping daily. Health insurance companies are exiting the market. Premiums could double.
And even the Obama Administration has had to admit things arent going too well. Heritage expert Robert Moffit listed just a few of the recent stops in this train wrecks path:
Last year, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Katherine Sebelius announced her department could not implement the long-term care component of Obamacare. Financially, she said, it was simply not workable. And [in April] Sebelius announced that she was postponing a program designed to allow small businesses to offer more than one plan for their workers. Meanwhile, more than half the states have declined to set up a health insurance exchange under the burdensome terms and conditions of the law, leaving it to Washington to do it for them.
Yesterdays news makes the countdown to the health insurance exchangeswhich are supposed to open October 1 of this yearall the more interesting. Will more employers drop coverage, telling workers theyll be able to get coverage through the exchanges? Will the exchanges work?
Dont forget that the individual mandate still kicks in on January 1, 2014. All Americans will have to buy government-approved health insurance or pay a fine. And the employer mandate wont be there to force employers to provide it.
Though the Administration is running amok, Congress can do something to rein it in. As Heritage expert Chris Jacobs wrote yesterday:
It is hard to understate the impact of todays devastating admission from the Administration that, after three years, it still cannot implement Obamacare without strangling businesses in red tape and destroying American jobs. That said, it is still not too late for Congress to do the right thing, and refuse to fund what the Administration has nowfinallyadmitted is a job-killing train wreck.
Instead, as we consider all the evil and destruction to this nation he's accomplished we wonder why in hell do we have to get saddled with a moronic, Muslim, socialist/communist idiot who despises America and Americans? We stand by watching the train wreck that is truly the destruction of our lives, economy and nation and wonder what we can possibly do.
The two political parties are truly slightly different from each other, but only slightly.
I'm afraid that America is in for a violent upheaval against the tyranny of this complete jackass and all the leftist henchmen he's appointed and surrounded himself with. Every agency of the central socialist government is now suspect.
A nobody, nonentity, nothing is in charge of the demolition of America.
You can bet that Hillary will want to delay ObamaCare until after the ‘16 presidential election. Hopefully, everyone will want to forget it by then.
There is no provision in the law which allows them this delay. They are now operating outside the law.
“The two political parties are truly slightly different from each other, but only slightly.”
...
“A nobody, nonentity, nothing is in charge of the demolition of America.”
To your first point, I could not agree more. It is so bad, that it doesn’t matter that Obamacare is a disaster. BOTH parties want the power Obamacare will give them. So, with their media allies, Obamacare will live, and won’t cost the party that passed it without reading it. Conservatives have virtually no representation in this government.
To your second point, I don’t believe Obama is in charge of much of anything. He is their charismatic, token black, sock puppet. But the destruction he is fronting is real, and, at this point, irreversible.
The death of America personified.
They are now operating outside the law.
Which is standard practice. If only someone in Congress had balls.....
Regarding your second point, the puppetmasters behind this loon are the ones who selected the destruction specialists. Obama, contrary to the media and the elitist loons, is a piss poor spokesman. He is inarticulate to a point beyond tedium.
To those mindless do-gooders who look upon Obama as a kind of specimen to display to the world demonstrating that America can promote an unknown negro to be president smacks of sending a chimp to the moon. It is an insult to thinking and patriotic negro Americans.
The election of these loons that enact crap like this speaks volumes to the world and especially to Americans with functioning brains that this nation is indeed a melting pot.
We live in an amalgam of decency, evil, hedonism, trailer trash and NWO elitists who spout political correctness.
——Congress can do something——
But the Senate won’t. It can’t. To act is suicidal for many
> There is no provision in the law which allows them this delay. They are now operating outside the law.
Yeah. The Obamessiah administration seems to have the executive branch of government execute only those laws which it desires. How’s this?
When I use the term ‘Congress’ I am referring to both ‘deliberative’ bodies and I use the term ‘deliberative’ in the loosest sense possible.
———If only someone in Congress had balls———
That is not called for. The House has voted to repeal Obamacare in it’s entirety. The Senate Minority leader has called for Repeal. The Congress has acted with in it’s limits. It is not their task to enforce laws.
It will be up to a brilliant lawyer to bring suit and win in the courts.
Think about how keeping the invaders in the US and not controlling residency is adding to the problem of unsustainable health care costs. And how the problem will get even worse if that stupid cheap-labor immigration scheme happens.
Nancy should have required a proctologist to remove that gavel from her person.
And here we go again, the left give us ammo and we do NOTHING with it.

We could make the RATS look like fools, but we choose not too. I think that the group think of the right is, “let the RATS stumble and trip on themselves - the public will see it all by themselves and change their vote. That’s not going to happen, the RATS are too good at marketing and making the right look like they are the ones that are on the wrong side of the decision.

Can’t risk pissing off the little people in flyover country during a mid-term election year.
