Immigration Reform
- Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush
, a longtime advocate of comprehensive immigration reform, said in a statement that the Senate vote was a strong step for meaningful immigration reform and encouraging legal immigration for those that want to contribute to a better America.
- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has called for tighter border controls and a pathway to citizenship for legal immigrants.
- Texas Gov. Rick Perry
has steadfastly opposed a border fence, saying it would take 10 to 15 years to build, cost $30 billion and wouldnt work.
Gay Marriage
- In a speech in June, (Jeb) Bush told the Faith and Freedom Coalition that families dont look all the time like they used to, and thats OK, and said the nation needs to be supportive of non-traditional families.
- (Chris) Christie, in a radio interview, criticized the Supreme Court decision, saying it was incredibly insulting to members of Congress and President Bill Clinton, who helped pass the Defense of Marriage Act at the time.
- Shortly before entering the 2011 presidential race, (Rick) Perry said he supports states rights so much that hes fine with the approval of gay marriage in places like New York. Within days of formally declaring his White House run, however, Perry changed his mind.

No; hes in there. Maybe I should have picked him instead of the ones I picked for brevitys sake (AP after all) . . .
Rubio was a key member of a bipartisan group of senators who developed the Senate plan and has spent months developing comprehensive immigration reform legislation. He has tried to sell the plan to conservatives, pointing to border security measures that would add 20,000 new border agents, build 700 miles of fencing along the southern border and develop a tracking system to identify people who overstay their visas.
In a lengthy statement, Rubio said the Supreme Court made a serious mistake and overstepped its important, but limited role. He said gay marriage should be decided through the democratic process and not through litigation and court pronouncements.

Don’t think Perry’s comment is correct. Sounds more like Reid.

Nothing like a potential leader showing up for battle after its been lost. Thanks Rubio. For nothing.
You notice after being successful in Senate amnesty he's disappeared?

There is no one there that I intend to vote for.
I am not taking the lesser of two evils again.
If I have to I will write in my own name, I can certainly do better than any of these mentioned.

And notice how the AP covers over Jeb’s pro-amnesty position by referring to his support for legal immigration?
To: Venturer
Cruz, Lee, Rand Paul, in that order. Not liking Rand’s position on immigration that much though...

Anything these three say is meaningless as pertains to a Presidential run.
Need to worry about the winnable down-ticket races. Screw the White House. It isn’t happening for us.

Rubio has been an expert as saying the right words for an election and taking actions the opposite once elected on the immigration issue.

Just as Barack Obama is an African-American first, a Socialist second, a Liberal third, a Democrat fourth, and an American fifteenth or twentieth (not necessarily in that order, except for what he is first and foremost), Marco Rubio is a Hispanic first, a moderate second, a Republican third, and an American, maybe seventh or eighth.
To: Olog-hai
Until the propaganda arm gets exposed all they’re going to cover are the RINOS and the GOPES, gop elite snobs, the “Me-too” Republican pushing their drivel.
