Bernie asking about position of TM dead arms. GZ testified that he spread them. The dead arms were under the body.
TM could have been still alive and brought his arms to his chest before he died.
What about the PD that attempted CPR? Did they not move the arms? I thought first officer on the scene confirmed the arm position that GZ described. Or was it not possible that TM could have moved after GZ let go of him?
Did he spread them or try to spread them? Did they have a picture before the cops arrived?? GZ did not think he was dead at any time. He didn't even think he hit him...
You know? As someone who has experienced both severe trauma when I was not personally, physically injured, and someone who has experienced serious injury after a criminal attack on my person — I do not think anyone can remember all of these details precisely.
I will say that after the crisis passes, it is my experience that my memory was not that great about things that happened after I felt I was “out of the woods”. My memory is razor sharp about things that happened during the events, but even then — eyewitness testimony is never perfect.
As a side issue, it would seem to me that George Zimmerman could claim “temporary mental defect” DUE TO HIS HEAD BEING INJURED and get off on all charges.
I am proud of Zimmerman for fighting this, on the merits.
Did he TESTIFY to that or was that a part of questioning? Does that matter?
Not being sarcastic, I really am asking.
