Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. That said, his daughter is not part of the case. She should be able to think whatever she wants. The government is attacking A CHILD WITH ICE CREAM?!?! Why? are they that desperate to throw the attorneys off they game? Are they so desperate for ANYTHING?
Remember the prosecution has admitted concealing evidence and hiding witnesses. So now they seek sanctions for ICE CREAM celebrating beating stupidity.
I imagine there is such a thing as jury intimidation but the comments I’ve read have been about getting Zimmerman himself or just some random white guy. I’ve not read of any jury threats yet. Perhaps there have been

Let’s say they yank West off the case. It looks bad for Zimmerman because it won’t be explained.
I thought Romney would win a close one. Was like living in 1980 and people voted for more Jimmy Carter. Insane.
Back to the trial: Looking at the ‘experts’ and juries HLN and CNN dig up, it seems like we are in living in two worlds. Doesn’t matter what evidence comes up at this trial, the Zimmerman is guilty crowd will not consider anything else.
I think the court will just admonish him and it’s more a Bar complaint-type issue. But jury won’t hear any of it.

Why would the mother be called to testify?
It’s what I was suggesting yesterday. I think they may be doing the Eight Men Out thing.
The Judge can simply ban her from the court.
Also is the judge going to ban the bias media? the racism media? then CNN can be enjoined from ANY coverage.
Experts saying she’ll be ask to listen to the screams and identify them as those of her son.
..But the prosecution expert said there’s no way forensically to identify the voice.
Judge is going to allow a mother to testify like that?
I remember her saying that about being an accident. DIdn’t hear she changed her story...but not surprised.
They were claiming that it’s absurd to believe TM would make comments like ‘You’re going to die tonight’, etc.
I see very few conservatives who think he’s guilty, but...

True. It’s odd we haven’t had more talk of what the jury is doing or how they’re reacting except for one or two examples like the fact they smiled when MoM tripped.
Screaming out of fear of dying would also change your voice. Zimmerman knows he was the one screaming and the guy on TV was a lying POS.

I’m wondering that too. It’s not like *West himself* posted it. His daughters are American citizens with free speech rights.

It could be interpreted as referring to a witness or to the case in general during the trial. Certainly unprofessional.
With all due respect to the judge, she needs a make over.
Her hair is fine, but she needs a diet and some toning exercises.
And, oh yeah, she needs to stop favoring the prosecution. (This would be my favorite)
