Today, July 2nd, is DAY #17 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Today Detective Chris Serino will be back on the stand. [Yesterday ended] on the stand with Chris Serino, who was the lead investigator for the Sanford Police Department on the Trayyvon Martin shooting.
Defense counsel Mark O’Mara led cross-examination with his usual consummate skill, obtaining responses from this witness–remember, the State’s witness–that all but completely guts the State’s charge in this case.
Among the key revelations so far: Zimmerman was always completely cooperative, open, and straightforward with all the police investigators over many weeks of multiple interviews, both in person at the police station and phone. I don’t think the ganging up on someone mentality (by freezing them out) is helpful.
If you choose not to respond, fine. But trying to round up others to do the same is unfortunate.
Zimmerman had stated that Martin was still talking after being shot (although he couldn’t recall the things Martin uttered), so it’s possible he himself pulled his arms back in as he was in the process of expiring.

His motive IS important. However, that’s an easy easy thing to prove.

You know? As someone who has experienced both severe trauma when I was not personally, physically injured, and someone who has experienced serious injury after a criminal attack on my person — I do not think anyone can remember all of these details precisely.
I will say that after the crisis passes, it is my experience that my memory was not that great about things that happened after I felt I was “out of the woods”. My memory is razor sharp about things that happened during the events, but even then — eyewitness testimony is never perfect.
As a side issue, it would seem to me that George Zimmerman could claim “temporary mental defect” DUE TO HIS HEAD BEING INJURED and get off on all charges.
I am proud of Zimmerman for fighting this, on the merits.
I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you have not been present on, particularly, yesterday’s thread but she is ubelievably relentless. It is beyond acceptable and disruptive and she’s been told ad nauseum, to the point where we are all now agreeing to not respond to her.

Have you ever considered that a response is multiplied by the number of times it has to be repeated because of the NUMBER OF TIMES OF BEING BERATED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN by POSTER AFTER POSTER AFTER POSTER.
