I just posted your question to the Texas state page. I should get an answer before too long.

This story is several weeks old. What has not been mentioned on this thread so far is that the Rally didn’t cause the traffic jam. There just is a lot of traffic, and it always moves that slow. The Rally just took advantage of a never ending stream of traffic to get out their message.
And that’s why the MEDIA wants to insist the Rally caused the jam. Because it was a success.

Same California "lurkers" that voted for Prop. 8 "traditional marriage"...and they are probably a bit ticked off that their State refused to defend the duly-enacted referendum.
I don't think we've seen the last of that issue, by any stretch...SCOTUS "overturned" nothing...

Thanks for posting this info. You're welcome, Starboard. Please hook up with your nearest Overpasses team. This is a totally grass roots effort by average, pissed off Americans like us.

Did not get enthusiasm on this earlier for some reason. Sometimes you just have to repeat a thing enough times to get folks' attention. I posted an article about this a couple of days ago too.

Awesome, Rusty. Time to gather up your 9/12 friends and head for an overpass again.
Thanks.

I agree. Nothing will change this monstrous, evil ever expanding, ever controlling government by protesting on freeway overpasses...writing letters, waving flags or signing some obscure petition...
The days of changing this sick government by traditional means are way over.

Unfortunately, all this did was make a whole bunch of People stuck in traffic while driving on the Freeway upset at the Tea Party. Aw jeeez.....
Alright folks. That's it. Put away the signs and banners. Saving our beloved country isn't worth pissing off a few motorists who are rushing to their regime supporting tax slave jobs.

...the MEDIA wants to insist the Rally caused the jam. Because it was a success. Thanks for popping that bubble, friend. Being from SoCal myself, it should have occurred to me that traffic in that area is always stop and go.

How can people on an overpass cause a traffic jam? I smell Media lies.

Think of this movement as a seed that grows into something larger. That's the intention of a lot of folks who are joining up.

Yes it will change minds because nobody else has the will to get out there positively.
The lib protests are surrounded by police for true reasons of security.
True American rallies are surrounded by the Police to harass out of obscure fairness.

Not what I'm saying. I live here and I know how this State has turned into a Liberal Love Connection.
I've had “discussions” with who I thought were rational people, talking about anything from Guns to Zimmerman. Even when presented with FACTS, they do not deviate in their positions and actually act offended when informed of the Truth.
I am all for the Patriots standing on that bridge, but I know how things are turned against us when we inconvenience the Stupefied Masses.

I am all for the Patriots standing on that bridge, but I know how things are turned against us when we inconvenience the Stupefied Masses. Here are a few words from some very wise men to give you hope and courage:
"It does not take a majority to prevail ... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
~Samuel Adams
"If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival.
There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves."
-- Winston Churchill
