Speaking of Paula Deen, no one is mentioning the treatment she is getting from the media. Funny in an ironic sort of way is that she campaigned for Obama and he won’t step up and mention it to stop the feeding frenzy. She’s white and he has to let her fry to keep his agitation agenda rolling.
Your first sentence mentioned God’s love for us.
You left out how Jesus wrapped a towel around himself and washed feet - even of the very many who he knew would betray him. You also left out the part about praying for those who persecute us & loving our enemies.
A caller to a radio show had a line that kind of fits here; “most of today’s problems are the result of yesterday’s solutions.”
He also threw out the money changers and called the Pherosees hypocrites. I can never compare myself to him or infer that anyone else should.

First off I object to the term “progressive” as these people continually go back to the failed policies of the past.
Secondly, I’m not too sure that many of their consequences are unintended.
And, since Obama’s initial campaign for Pres., he’s got the 20 & 30 somethings right where he wants them....unemployed with advanced degrees in nothing worthwhile to society thinking they should be making 3 figure incomes to pay back their student loans..so now depressed and living with mom & dad with their “partners” and collecting food stamps and sponging off mom & dad; they waste a lot of time on social media sights airing everything they do so that NSA has cause against all of them; too comfortable in life to believe in God and rather go to Starbucks on Sundays versus being with hypocrites in churches...
Also, Obama forgets a lot of people he once knew if they have any negatives on him and even if they helped him win elections as the rich shall pay in his world. Our Supreme Court justice is one who also fell into his web and now we see the results.

The key words are "for now." My gut feeling is that this "for now," will not last long, but will get a whole lot worse, and possibly a whole lot more physical in the future. Will the Saxon ever awaken? (Kipling) my guess is, not anytime soon.

Maybe it's because I live in the most multicultural city in the world, but it seemed to me things were pretty bad even twenty years ago. At one time I think we WERE a less racist country and the races got along better, but that was before the 1965 immigration act really started showing results. For most of its history, America was majority white. When tens of millions of third world nonwhites started flooding in, fighting with the blacks and pushing them out of their neighborhoods, getting affirmative action that was originally intended for blacks, etc., that's when things really heated up and all the various races and ethnicities, pushed together against their wills, did not get along.
You know what? If she campaigned for Obama (I did not know this), she deserves what she has gotten, I love it when liberals fall in their own traps. And next time, maybe she will no linger be a low information voter.
Paula Deen supported the machine that's doing this to her so I don't much care how they toy with her before they finish her off. She should to shut up and walk cheerfully to the guillotine like a good trooper since she helped build it.
