Obama administration paid contractors millions to snoop through Americans’ financial data
The Daily Caller ^ | 06/27/2013 | Brendan Bordelon

A secretive data collection program run by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau allows private contractors access to millions of Americans’ personal financial information, according to a government accountability group.

The information may also be shared with other federal agencies.

Documents obtained by Washington-based Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act illustrate the cost and scope of the program, which business groups and some Republican lawmakers have assailed as invasive and potentially illegal.

The Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported how the CFPB compelled banks to comply with the program by making successful passage of routine inspections conditional on supplying massive amounts of their customers’ financial information. The new documents shed light on what happens to that data once banks have turned it over.

Multiple credit reporting agencies...

Wanda Sykes was on Leno tonight. Apparently, she used to work for NSA so was all snarly that the NSA didn’t have anyone sitting around reading our emails, blah, blah, blah. Ok, if my emails are so boring then why are they being collected and stored? Ya know, if I was suspicious, I’d think her little guest appearance was staged. Naw, I’m sure it was just another one of the usurper’s ever growing list of coinky dinks.

I’ve said this before here. The government is particularly enamored of hiring contractors to do their illegal dirty work. In some perverted conception, they seem to think if they only ‘pay’ for the illegal act instead of actually having their employees ‘commit’ the act, everything is hunky-dory.

This government, particularly egregiously under Obama, is morbidly corrupt with the respect to the rights affirmed to us under the Constitution. There is nothing patriotic about it at all. They’ve replaced that word with oppressive.

that sounds like a reasonable explanation to the renewal of my United States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development (USDA-RD) Loan on my home. This is the first year for the renewal I never received the paper application or anything to renew. Just received a letter informing me what the monthly payment will be for the next year.

Home owners insurance sent out an inspector for renewal with no notification to me, and taking pictures of property. My neighbors went ballistic because a strange car and strange guy in the neighborhood. Get a letter telling me I need to redo the roof in order to keep the home owner’s insurance. Waiting for the roadwork/sewer upgrade to be finished in order for the Menard’s truck to be able to deliver the shingles. 10 days of rain makes it impossible for the new sewer line to be installed, but there is a gaping hole there where the street is supposed to be.

You see the polls that most in this country will admit they are very displeased with this government, R or D. Because of the media, they don’t know just how much others feel the same way. That is why I think the Overpass Demonstration Banner campaign is a wonderful idea, especially when carried out during the peak travel times targeted (yea, I said it) while the LIV’s can see it with their own eyes.

If Tea Party groups are in any way organizing it, stay away from claiming the organizing and just call ourselves just average concerned citizens. If the media tries to ask about tea party association, just interrupt them with the concerned citizens description. Honestly, is that not the genesis of the Tea Party groups anyway?

It has a very real chance of overturning the media’s Conventional Wisdom (CW) because this will be totally counter to it and cause maybe a quarter of the drive-time LIV’s to wonder what all the hubbub is about. Eventually, they will start asking questions out of the CV and then the majority of the lemmings will follow.

Our only viable option at this point, short of armed rebellion, is to make it financially painful or impossible for the Democrats to continue supporting him. To force them to act, we need to make them want him out as much as we do. We’ve got to hit them where it hurts - in the pocket.

How do we do that? Find their donors. Target their businesses. Make it difficult or impossible for them to do business. Protest in front of them, boycott their products and services, write negative reviews, file lawsuits and complaints where appropriate, flood social media against them. When Democratic donors are screaming for relief, they’ll cut him loose.

It’s past time to get serious against these b@st@rds. We can start with Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

The Experian contract says that the information is being collected “for use in a wide range of policy research projects,” echoing CFPB Director Richard Cordray’s April 23 contention that the data will be used only to help “inform policy decisions.”

It must be noted when you confiscate a persons assets you must know where and how much assets they have. In the country of Oman the name of the secret police is The Research Department.
