The media and Liberals (sorry to be redundant) are convinced that so-called white racism represents the single greatest threat to civil liberties we face as a nation. That's why the media is so lopsided in how they report race stories. They don't want to make whites aware of the extent of black crime and racism, and they want to forever stoke white guilt. In the case of Paula Deen, the media want to make an example out of her to scare any whites away from ever thinking or sharing racist thoughts. Meanwhile, the Liberal media gives Al Sharpton his own show after he's made a career out of making remarks comparable to Deen's.
The mistake she made was APOLOGIZING!
She is a democrat and Obama supporter- that would have gotten her a pass.
If she just announced “I am not going to apologize for things done and said in a different era- I am a democrat and supported Obama so if you want to claim I am a racist then go to heck”

We’re just a little more sophisticated now because you don’t need actual emblems sewn on you - the media and the zeitgeist will sown one on every aspect of your character and you will lose everything - same as the jews who were forced out of their jobs, schools, homes and towns into ghettos - before they were simply made to ‘disappear’.
