Is Paula Deen being targeted by the PC culture because she talked about the amount of food that Moochelle ate backstage when she was on Paula's show?
When I read that she was an Obama supporter it sort of seemed amusing. I have never watched her show but came across it several times while channel surfing.
Whatever I thought of her show, no one should be savaged like this for what just about everyone and especially minorities do or have done at some time.

Paula Deen is NOT either not listening to her handlers or is spacey, but she really screwed up the aftermath of the “incident”. She is doing it to herself. I don’t think what she did was a big deal, but her follow up to it has been a disaster.

That Jarrett quote just about says it all. All we can do is support our political causes, starve the beast where possible, and VOTE. Since Obama’s election I’ve started paying bills online (hoping to help along cuts at the post office), spent a lot less money (which is self-serving, helping to pay down debt, but also keeps the money out of the hands of the Obama voters working in bars, restaurants, theaters, etc.), and spent a lot of time explaining the reality of things to my young children.

This is to show everyone that if they can take down someone like Deen for disrespecting Michelle, the little people don’t have a chance. And that includes “little” politicians.

when did Deen get to be on “our side”?
There are probably enough older white people who will buy enough of Deen’s cookbooks and cookware (especially when it is deep discounted in closeout shops to give the woman a comfortable retirement.

She was sued by a person claiming that Paula Deen treated them bad at her restaurant as an employee. That person also said that Deen said the N-word in jokes. And the rest. Deen admitted it all in a deposition. So the story hit the web and the fire started burning. This was not just a concocted story and Deen admits the whole thing.
