The Korean peninsula has a “demilitarized zone” so I guess that’s not worthy of consideration?

What a jerk!
The difference is, Juan McPain, that the Berlin Wall was intended to keep enslaved people IN, but we need to defend our boarders to keep invaders OUT!
Get it?
Didn’t think so.

Unless the waiver provision put in which allows Big Sis Napolitano to declare the border to be secure after putting up a ten foot wide privacy fence is implemented.

Your comparison to the Maginot line is spot on. The Germans went around the Maginot line just like the illegals go around the fence in San Diego. The fence keeps out the fat old ladies while hordes go through the mountains, through the tunnels, over the ocean in pangas, and though the ports of entry in the trunks of cars while aided and abetted by corrupt affirmative action Customs and Border Protection Agents. We need fences and interior enforcement.

Yeah, I was gonna mention the Maginot Line, but you beat me to it. So, I am gonna say the “Reverse Berlin Wall”, but you could hardly call it a wall when doesn’t extend very far across the room.

Yeah, lots of jobs for people to patrol the border - maybe some for McCain's State, right?... Bringing home the bacon, John?
What does this bill have to do with sending these people back home?
And that lie about going to the 'back of the line'? What a joke. The back of the line people get to live in the United States WHILE they're waiting in that 'line'....
How stupid do you think we are McCain?
It's all a lie... everything out of his mouth. Lots of illegals just fly in and never leave - this bill doesn't do anything except grant Amnesty.

Actually, it may be closer to the Berlin Wall than you’d think. Americans now have to have papers (government permission) to LEAVE this country.
