A plan to strengthen border security measures in the bipartisan immigration bill easily passed the Senate Monday.
In a 67-27 vote, 15 Republican senators joined most Democrats to end debate on an amendment by GOP Sens. Bob Corker of Tennessee and John Hoeven of North Dakota.

Just one of the many sleepers who have infiltrated.
Hatch has done his damage and is ready to retire now.
No, Lamar Alexander is coming up for re-election next year, as well. He deserves to get throttled.
I must say that I was disapppointed we ended up with Corker in Tennessee, as well, when we had men like Ron Ramsey running.
DING DING DING !!! NO MORE CALLS, PLEASE. WE HAVE A WINNER !!!
I would bet that a meeting was held before the vote to decide in many cases who would vote yes and who would vote no based on who is up for re-election in 2014.
Cornyn is one of those. Given the choice he would have voted yes but because he has to run in 2014, someone who isn’t up for election until 2016 voted yes to ensure passage and Cornyn could vote no. Three years from now, how many people will remember who voted yes and who voted no? Maybe we here on FR but certainly not a majority of people.
They’re traitors of the worst degree. They’ve undermined our sovereignty, we now have multi-millions of low information people who can be trained into social solidarity groups, ready at the snap of a finger to work here or even globally. This is truly crushing news.
You got that right. Even though Cornyn voted no on this he still needs to be primary challenged in 2014. It was reported that he worked behind the scenes with Mitch McConnell to give Republicans cover to vote yes on this.
We should have known Chris Christie would have sold us down the river on amnesty.
Alexander arrived late to cast the 68th vote for Schumer. They already had well over 60 votes. Was he trying to rub it in, or just making sure he got his reward?
The bill is a gigantic bait-and-switch. The border agents don’t need to be in place until 2021, and Big Sis (or any other DHS head) can waive the fence requirement at any time for any reason.
It’s a sell-out of America. Get ready for millions of additional immigrants, the family members of the newly legalized already here.
They’ll be jumping for joy in the White House, as the destruction of America takes a big step forward.
All of these have lied. They have given the impression they digested a 1200 page amendment that they received only Friday.
That is a lie.
oh look the usuals yet again, the MCcain crowd like Ayotte, Graham, Hatch, and the others who will do anything what McCain tells them to .
AZ and SC can you vote these two bums out quickly an dhow is Hatch still there and Murkowski , it’s AK for crying out loud why are there RINO;s and Dems in power there?
if Mccain said no then at least 5 others would have said no, they are sheep to McCain and Graham and those two have to go.
Once those two go then the usual suspects will be left out by themselves and the country boys will have no where but back to the base
then we have to do everything to get them voted out an get 3 decent well to do candidates who won;t blow it and open their mouths at the wrong time.
Surely there must be military , Docs etc who will run against these idiots, no more lawyers either
Wish I had time to figure out who was given cover that will be up for re-election in 2014. Remember Botox Nancy did this to some of her lap dogs several years ago. Too bad McConnell doesn’t pull any shenanigans that would benefit those of us who are Conservative.
Michael Berry had a great program on today. He didn’t get to spend much time talking about the amnesty but did praise Cruz and Sessions and asked everyone to thank them for their hard work. Nary a peep about Cornyn. At least one Conservative radio broadcaster can see through the smoke and mirrors.
I would like to know where Rubio is talking in my state of FL as he will get a few of us to face him at a town hall or an event now.
McCain and Graham yet again twisted the few to help the Dems
they’re old and have had a good run, they have the power and money and connections and that is it.
Once amnesty passes, they will quickly get the right to vote, and nobody will be elected in Arizona who is NOT Hispanic.
he and others have been given pork for their districts and sold others out in the process
