Cornyn is one of those. Given the choice he would have voted yes but because he has to run in 2014, someone who isn’t up for election until 2016 voted yes to ensure passage and Cornyn could vote no.

You got that right. Even though Cornyn voted no on this he still needs to be primary challenged in 2014. It was reported that he worked behind the scenes with Mitch McConnell to give Republicans cover to vote yes on this.

Wish I had time to figure out who was given cover that will be up for re-election in 2014. Remember Botox Nancy did this to some of her lap dogs several years ago. Too bad McConnell doesn’t pull any shenanigans that would benefit those of us who are Conservative.

Michael Berry had a great program on today. He didn’t get to spend much time talking about the amnesty but did praise Cruz and Sessions and asked everyone to thank them for their hard work. Nary a peep about Cornyn. At least one Conservative radio broadcaster can see through the smoke and mirrors.
