At 5:30 p.m. EDT, the Senate will vote on the Corker-Hoeven Amnesty amendment to the Schumer-Rubio Amnesty bill, S.744. Passage of this amendment could greatly improve the chances of this terrible legislation passing later this week. We need your urgent phone calls to your two U.S. Senators telling them to vote NO on the Corker-Hoeven amendment. Call NOW toll-free at 888-995-8349.
The sponsors of the proposal, along with the Gang of 8, have tried to characterize this amendment as a "border surge" that includes an increase of 20,000 border patrol agents and requirements for DHS to spend billions of dollars of equipment and build 700 miles of fencing along the southern border.
Got through to Kaine’s flippant rep. Had to leave voicemail for Warner. Virginia.
Nelson, OK I;ve gone through al the R’s , I;m now going to get in touch with Nelson and if the old snowbirds and northern’s down there woke up then we would not even have Nelson here.
I called Isackson and Chambliss again.
Chambliss’ office said they had read the bill. All 1200 pages.
Isackson was still reviewing it with his staff.
Neither could tell me how they were voting.
I told them they should have filibustered this mess. This is the same path Obamacare went down and we remember how well that worked out.
If you can’t get through to the national numbers, call the local/state offices.
Phone numbers for the local offices for your congressmen can be found at this link.
Just click the letter of the last name of your Senator.

Corkers phone in DC has been busy all day
the treasonous coward...
Dont blame me
Ive never voted for the snake...
I voted for Ed Bryant in the first primary Corker ever ran in...
Ed Bryant was one of the House attorneys who went after Clinton...Bill Clinton...
Cornyn aid said John Cornyn is going to vote against the amendment.
Why do they even need to read it to know its poison and unConstitutional and not in our countrys best interests ???
Just vote NO to AMNESTY
I just called Bob Corkers Chattanooga off (423) 756-2757 to tell him to vote NO on S744 the AMNESTY Bill..
I told the guy there to tell Bob he worked for we the people the voters of TN not the Mexican illegal aliens and that I was tired of having to make these calls every few years and just to quit it..
Im noticing that they dont have in -your-face confrontational people answering the phones any more...

Don’t be fooled. I called Coats’ office and the staffer said the same thing about not supporting the bill as it stands now....BUT.....said Sen Coats has not taken an official position on the Corker amendment when I asked him about that. When I asked whether he would vote for or against the Corker amendment, the staffer said the same thing. Sen. Coats has not taken or made an official position known at this time.
I tried to press him, but he wouldn’t budge. I told him this sounded just like Lugar’s office. When a vote came up that he knew wouldn’t be popular or was controversial, he said he hadn’t made up his mind and then SHAZAM all of a sudden when the roll call was made he made his decision.....and voted the wrong way.
These are weasel words, IMO.
Don’t let up on Dan Coats. (202) 224 5623
