These laws need to be about 10 pages in length with none of that “let the secretary decide” k|~@p in it.

This needs to happen more often.

Much more often.

Boehner is a leader like I’m an astronaut.

Sixty-two Republicans willing to publicly embarrass John Boehner. That’s improvement, but we need more if he is to be replaced as Speaker. Still too many have their noses on Boehner’s butt, we need to put pressure on those to stand up to Boehner. If they don’t have the courage to stand up to Boehner they need to be voted out themselves.

Not a specialist in milk price support politics but way-back-when Senator Jeffords agreed to play nicey-nicey with the Republican party so they could keep their control of the Senate in return for a hefty price support program for a variety of agricultural commodities ~ particularly milk.

Barely a month later he was back at the trough demanding more money ~ this time for a disabilities education fund of some kind ~ and the Republicans wouldn't play ball with him ~ so he became an independent and caucused with the Democrats.

Reading through the Wiki-ganda pieces I observed that all the farm bill hijacking Jeffords engaged in is NO LONGER MENTIONED ~ folks will need to go elsewhere or that one.

There was another fellow from South Dakota mixed up in this ~ seems that beef cows also provide a substantial percentage of dairy and dairy biproducts in this country, so they have to be satisfied as well.

I hope folks enjoy this thread because literally everybody will need to do some research to find out what happened ~ strange that even the Speaker hadn't been properly advised.

Trouble for Boehner, dairy prices

Or Boehner Cries Over Spilled Milk.

Cry us a river, we've all cried a river over you...another bottom of the charts tune by the Rino's Supreme, Boner, McCainster, Grahamnasty, and the entire choir of GOPe.

“not good for the House GOP leadership and their ability to wrestle with these big issues”

If it’s not good for the GOP “leadership” then it’s very good for conservatives.

Maybe conservatives in the House have finally come to grips that if they keep marching in lockstep with Boehner/Cantor they are jeopardizing themselves in 2014.

Also, maybe enough of these guys are feeling their oats to start talking about ousting the Weeper in January 2015 (assuming they hang onto the House).
