After the state presents their ‘no evidence’ case against Zimmerman, the defense will make a motion to toss the case on SYG and self defense.
According to one of the legal analysts, once the jury is sworn in (this one has been), jeopardy is now attached and any result where Zimmerman goes free would be final.
They wouldn’t open that door, the prosecution will probably try to push someone other than their ‘expert’ witnesses into saying that Martin is the screamer and then the defense can squash that testimony using what the judge is allowing them to say.
I believe that any attempt by the prosecution to present any witness declaring that is Martin’s voice can and will be disallowed by the defense objecting to it.
The defense’s testimony that the voice can’t be identified has already passed the judges review and has already been accepted by her as allowable.
Correct. There’s no reason for the defense to call witnesses to dispute evidence the prosecution is barred from putting on, though.
The parent’s testimony that it’s Martin and Zimmerman’s parents testimony that it’s George will both be admissible and probably offered.
Ad the muslim illegal alien in the oval office into that mix.
This is a good move.
The defense can hire “experts” who will say anything for money.
Best to leave this confusing issue out of it altogether!
I look at it the other way...the defense experts would have creamed the prosecution’s expert.
So does the State. I would believe the defense before I would the State. I havs seen what the State of Florida has done to an innocent man, one George Zimmerman.
I would make it 100 to 0 odds.
Look, let me say it nice and plain, Bush and the Congress, the courts and the press, the military and the Republic hating unions of this country, hate the USA, they hate it with a passion, they hate it so much that they allowed an illegal alien to first become a US Senator and then take over and occupy the Oval Office.
They, all those named above, want to destroy the country so as to take over and cash in on it's natural resources. They, all those listed above, know they can't disarm us, they know they can't conquer us, so they need us to kill each other off, it is called forced civil war and revolution.
If the Zimmerman case won't get blacks opely attacking and fighting Hispanics in the streets, they will find another way, but start a civil war they will.
Question is, are you and your family ready.
I hate to sound prejudiced, but it’s an all-female jury.
Best to leave complicated testimony out of it.

If I understood correctly the tape can still be played, but NO expert witnesses can testify.

I agree. And it was, I believe, by design. The verdict will be based on emotion, and fear.

The FBI said the tape was inconclusive... as far as ‘experts’ - who ever hires them gets to hear what they want to hear. The FBI has the best equipment - the best people - and they said it couldn’t be determined...
I also agree that it is impossible to identify a screamer. My mom was mugged in the vestibule of her building. She screamed while this was happening. My apartment was right next to the vestibule. I heard the scream,threw my cat off my lap and rushed into the hall. NEVER EVER would I have guessed that it was my mom screaming. Never. It was a pitch I had never heard come out of her in all the years I've lived at home.
Even if they have an excellent and long recording, I do not believe that a screamer can be identified unless words are spoken.
