A driver who witnessed the fiery crash that killed journalist Michael Hastings says the vehicle the 33-year-old was driving shook his car "like a freight truck" as it flew by early Tuesday morning in Los Angeles.
"Was stopped at a red light tonight when a pearl white Mercedes flew past," Michael Carter wrote on Facebook a few hours later. "It shook my car like a freight truck going by. Saw it burst into flames a quarter mile down the road when it hit a tree."
In a Facebook message to Yahoo News, Carter explained in detail what he saw:

Early in Obama’s first term, didn’t someone connected to his administration die in an exploding and/or burning car that was parked in his garage? Anyone else remember that?
It is easier now than ever to divert the electronics in modern cars. If the tranny is electronically shifted, then a simple jumper circuit can stop the vehicle from being shifted once into drive, and of course the same works for ignitions. The CIA knows all the tricks dontchaknow.
bttt
Ping!........
interesting-I wish the cameraman had asked the guy to tell what happened in his own language-even if he didn’t understand it[oh well
General David Petraeus kisses Jill Kelley after accepting community service award presented at Kelley's home during the summer of 2011. It was later revealed Kelley, of Lebanese descent, was millions in debt, and had questionable ties to Middle Eastern entities.
I have no doubt whatsoever that in holder’s FBI a few ‘workers’ can be found who will do whatever eric tasks them with. There are Craig Livingstones all across America don’tchaknow.
I had a car where the cruise control turned on and was excelerating. That’s where neutral and brakes come in handy.
When a story about this was up earlier there was a link in a comment to a site with an interview with a couple of engineers who had developed an app for a laptop that could be connected to the tech readout plug in a modern car and deliver a packet to the system that would made the electronic functions accessible remotely. In ssome of these cares nothing is directly connected, no hydraulic brakes or steering, all electronic. The brake pedal and the steering wheel are only switches that input to the computer on board.
Accelerator stuck. Happened to me once after loaning my car to X
Turned the key off
Or he could have been being chased.
Hi .45 LC, hope you are well.
Yes, Holder was up to his ears involved in Trentadue, the OKC bombing, Elian Gonzalez, Waco, and if my memory serves me correct, he was in the chain of command with Lon Horiuchi.
I brushed into him (and his security) in a hotel elevator in Chicago several years ago. He did not like to hear my questions, and got off the elevator a couple of floors early. I couldn’t help but see one of the “earpieces” with a tight smile on his face.
If there is a place in Hell that is hotter than the others, and it was within my power, I would assign Holder to that spot. He is a serpent!
I can’t believe the firefighters and police kept asking if anyone was still in the car. Good Gosh Almighty! You can smell flesh burning.
I remember it, but it was a woman.
If all the controls, including the gear selector in an automatic are electronic, rather than direct or hydraulic thenthe car can be controlled remotely with a plug-in app.
The kenyan’s ops have tended to be pretty direct. A couple of the gay choirboys in Chicago were shot to death and the guy who got into the passport files was parking by the courthouse when a fellow walked up to him and shot him dead then walked away.
Yeah, but the "wet work" guys have made tremendous advances since,
IIRC, the Paris tunnel crash didn't quite leave all parties DRT.
Unless you’re knock out or dead and can’t do those things!
Can the witness state with certainty which actually happened FIRST; The crash, or the bursting into flames? Probably just me, but if the car was rigged with explosives the flames came FIRST; and THEN it crashed.
The engine block looked like a brand new one fell off the back of a truck or something, just lying there in the street. No scorching or burning.
