I am a Wisconsinite. I have no plans to support Paul Ryan in the next primary. I am by no means unique among my peers. Wise up, Ryan. Please.

Seems like job shortages are the problem, not so much labor shortages--and I have seen the vehicles of those who have come here seeking work--all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Putting even more of a drag on our economy isn't going to fix the problem, and all we need is a few million more unemployed/disabled dope mules to support...
If you subsidize it, they will come.

There’s not enough illegal aliens to play the roles of house slaves for rich Republicans.

Force abortion-on-demand down our throats and hand out free morning-after pills like candy, then tell us our problem is that we aren't having enough babies?
You sure you want to go down this road, Pauly?

Couldn’t agree MORE.
Hell, ILLEGAL aliens damned near put a local hospital out of business a few years ago—Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

Paul Ryan = fool.
Just because some immigration can be beneficial does not mean this LOUSY bill should become law.
Ryan, Rubio = two fools with potential who have blown it.

We have 10,000 people retiring each and everyday in America when the Baby Boomers retire.
So, they will be replaced by unskilled English illiterate 3rd worlders? Really?

Has anyone else noticed.......we would have been just about as totally screwed if the republicans had won in ‘08 or ‘12. It has all been carefully programmed to fail.

There is shortage of skilled Engineers, physicians, bio-medical scientists, registered nurses, and several other lines of work. The unemployed are mostly unskilled, low skilled, computer programmers etc.

When we are subsidizing 49% of the US population for their basic needs, we will never have a shortage of eligible labor. If Ryan believes the steaming load of crap he expects us to swallow, then the level of immigration allowed should be inversely proportional to the percentage of the U.S. population that is receiving welfare. One does wonder what dirt the NSA might have. Blackmail, a threat to his family, or a flat out bribe.
I don’t know. But it is frightening how many seemingly sound conservatives have become Chuck Schumer automatons.
To: RobertClark
Ryan is right about boomers retiring in droves, but the answer isn’t to replace them with 3rd world aliens.

There are OPTIONS to deal with potential labor shortages, short of turning over the demographics of the country.
How about a guest-worker program? Come here, work 5 years, go home. Not so hard. Do we really need to condemn this country to turn into another Argentina instead?
