President Obama's nonstop fundraising for congressional Democrats is building a huge campaign war chest for next fall, but there is little hope that his party will win back control of the House and make Rep. Nancy Pelosi speaker again, according to an exhaustive new analysis.
But the report from the University of Virginia's Center for Politics also shows that Obama may suffer the fewest losses of House seats for a second-term president since Ronald Reagan in 1986, itself a big victory.
"While it would be foolish to rule out any outcome, there is no indication at this point that the Republican House majority is in jeopardy," said Kyle Kondik, the House analyst on Larry Sabato's Crystal Ball team.
His report suggest that the Republicans will boost their numbers by five seats in 2014. The average loss by the president's party in the sixth year of an administration since 1946 is 21 seats. Dwight D. Eisenhower lost a high of 48 in 1958, Reagan lost five in 1986, and Bill Clinton picked up 5 in 1998.

The reasons for so little change, Kondik said, is that there are few vulnerable seats on either side and the the national political climate is "pretty neutral." He did warn, however, that if the scandals rocking the White House get worse, the Democrats could suffer bigger losses.

The communists now own the elections. They run the polls and they count the votes. 2014 is going to be big for them. They’re not worried. Just do the same things they did in 2012.
If there were even a shred of integrity left in the United States, the only ‘indication’ would be impeachment.
Although, let’s face it, he should never have been allowed to run for office in the first place, as he clearly does NOT fulfill the constitutional requirements.
The only reason we would not gain too many more is that the GOP majority is pretty strong already, which doesn’t leave a lot of room to increase numbers.
If the Republicans play things right with the scandals, Obamacare implementation, the economy, and everything else that leaves Obama vulnerable, they could win the House and the Senate...oops! It’s the Republicans we’re talking about. WE’RE SCREWED!
We need to fight for both of them. I dont trust Obama at all. If there is a major economic downturn before the midterms and people “need” assistance then we may be looking at a different ballgame. IF Obama got the house and kept the Senate, I could see him in a third term. We need to own this one. No weak candidates. Full support on our side.

Obama is not on the ticket. The low-fo voters will be occupied with the latest reality tv program. I’m thinking it will be another 2010. Here’s hoping!
We need to be playing our A-game to find competent conservatives who can debate. Landreaiu has proven herself an intellectual midget. She’s a prime target.
Nor can America afford to have John Boehner as the Speaker. He is an unmitigated disaster.
Evidence is all around me here in Texas that Tea Party Patriots are energized and ready to take America back. With Godly people such as Governor Sarah Palin, Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Louis Gohmert ready for a fight, genuine Conservative values will triumph in 2014 and in 2016.
