I don’t even want to see or hear that name anymore. For five years straight all we heard was Romney and frontrunner. He was the worst possible candidate and we all knew he would lose. So sick of him and anything relating to him. And I live in MA so I’ve had to deal with him longer than others.

A very balanced and fair analysis. IOW, RomneyCare was a lesser Fuster Cluck to fix a greater Fuster Cluck put in place by his predecessors.

Our plan was a state solution to a state problem, So MA needed a solution to kill more babies at the taxpayers expense? And what does romneycare have to do with romney being the first governor to approved same sex marriage for the state of MA?
There is no revenge like God's. Hope he's ready for it and all those who supported him with their vote.

And we’re going to get more Romneys and McCains until the cross-party voting in the primaries is abolished. The dems come out in droves to pick our candidate for us, always the weakest candidate on the roster.

Gawd. Go pound sand.
Romney was the intellectual father of 0bamaCare.
Romney’s aides were in the White Hut designing 0bamaCare.
Don’t disown your bastard son, Mitt / NR / GOPe.

While I agree that Massachusetts is different than Tennessee, I think that’s why Romney lost the election, not why he would have won it. Romney tried to appeal to moderate to liberals during the actual campaign, with his pro-gay, fuzzy abortion, and quasi right to arms rhetoric. He pirouetted in full tutu around Benghazi when a conservative would have hammered it.
He lost millions of religious conservatives and social conservatives with that foolishness, and he pretty much has his own strategy to blame for his loss.

Romney's done. He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory twice. He lost to McCain of all people in 08 when it was "his turn" even then. He lost to Bacrock this time.
This was the "electable candidate?"

The best way to think about Romneycare is on a left-right scale of 1 to 10. If 10 is a libertarian utopia, and 1 is a left-wing dystopia, Governor Romney moved Massachusetts individual health-insurance market from a 2 to a 4. That is, it moved that market modestly to the right.
right, 'cause forcing people to buy insurance moves the scale towards 'libertarian'

I really don’t want to read anything more about some other greasy liberal politician, especially Romney. It is bad enough having to listen to stuff about the crapweasel in office without having to pay attention to one who isn’t.

If the best that the GOP-e can come up with is ... “See, we are not as bad”, then they will continue to FAIL at election time.
