Former Florida governor Jeb Bush (R) argued Wednesday that the United States should pass immigration reform because the U.S. economy needs the labor of young immigrants, and immigrants are “more fertile.”
“Immigrants create far more businesses than native-born Americans,” Bush said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to the Majority conference. “Immigrants are more fertile, and they love families, and they have more intact families, and they bring a younger population. Immigrants create an engine of economic prosperity.”
Bush said immigrants are an advantage that the United States has over China, Europe and Japan, which don’t have the same immigrant tradition and are struggling to find young laborers.
“If we don’t do it, we will be in decline, because the productivity of this country is dependent upon young people that are equipped to be able to work hard,” Bush said.
Bush, whose wife is a Mexican-born immigrant, has long been an advocate for comprehensive immigration reform.

Well, just how many Taco stands and lawn services do we need? Immigrants are NOT more fertile than Americans. They just have no qualms of having someone else paying to support their children. Americans, at least those who work for a living, are taxed out of having children. We've been forced to pay the stupid and lazy people to breed for so long, they now out number us. Bush won't rest until there are more poor people for us to support. I wish someone would ask Bush and the rest of the "Hispanics are the greatest people in the world" crowd, if Hispanics are so great, why do their countries suck? If having a large population of uneducated poor people is great, why does every American city with large numbers of those type people suck?
Yeah, they had to come to America to learn to rob, rape, murder, steal, molest children, learn to get drunk, drive when drunk, ad infinitum.
I figure that illegal aliens, can, if they want to be legal, return to their home country.
Path to citizenship: they have one. They return to their home country, and apply for legal entry while there.
Amnesty: That would be forgiving illegal aliens crime of illegal entry or overstaying their visa if they leave the US and return home.
I would replace ‘chain immigration’ as invented by Edward Kennedy with ‘chain deportation’. When the parents leave, they must take their US born children with them. Such children then are not under US jurisdiction, and would lose US citizenship.
We can discuss immigration again when unemployment is below 5%.

I think you’re wrong. I think the bushes are globalists who envision an American Union not unlike the European Union. Being wealthy elitists, however, they won’t have to suffer the indignities that the rest of us will suffer. Mass shortages, declining property values, etc.
Well, I don’t think that the White race will be displaced as soon as some think. Blacks and Hispanics are aborting their children at a faster rate than the whites are, and marry even less often. Which is why, I suppose, the elites are so anxious to keep the immigrants coming.

Things cannot continue the way they've been. The system is fubar, and teetering on its last legs. Legalizing 30 - 50 - 70 million poor, uneducated, unskilled, willfully unassimilated foreigners, will push things to the breaking point.

Agreed, but the root of the illegal immigration problem lies with the state of these people's home countries. America acts like an open pressure relief valve for those corrupt and despicable places. If we were to shut down our border with sufficient barricades and manpower, the pressure relief valve would close, and that pressure would be re-directed to the correct destinations.
The Hispanic illegals need to have a revolution in their home countries, and then turn them into mirror images of the US. It can be done, but it would take a lot of courage on their parts. It's just easier to cow down and run to a place where they can freely steal jobs and taxpayer dollars to survive.
If we ever truly shut our border, perhaps they'd find their courage.

Ah... Jeb Bush speaking before a Karl Rove funded group, as part of Rove’s mission to ensure we have smart candidates who don’t say stupid and offensive things. IMHO, Bush and Rubio have proven themselves this week to be far more more stupid and offensive than Akin and Mourdock.
