This is going to become common as taxpayer supported entities change to say a collective F...U to taxpaying US citizens, further devaluing our citizenship and country. Foreign criminals will simply force taxpayers to pay for them too.

Nearly a day doesn’t go by that some new outrage doesn’t come out, but every time I think I’ve heard it all, they come out with something new. What the hell is wrong with people these days? It seems like half the people I know are in shock at how far and fast we’re falling apart. The other half are riding the “good times” for as long as they can, taking the government for all it’s worth while they can. The latter half includes everything from illegal aliens who are engaged in identity fraud, to the hordes of single moms sucking up free stuff, to state government employees making six-figure salaries and luxurious pensions for doing essentially nothing. As bad as it is, I think we still have more surprises ahead of us as this once-great nation spirals down.
Your post says it all. Every day I wake up and there is a new battle to be fought.
I gotta tell you, I’ve been pretty demoralized by it all lately. When I meet extended family members at a reunion and they tell me about all the benefits they’re getting (with no intention of ever getting married ‘cause they’d lose their lucrative checks), or I hear “friends” brag about how they’ve defrauded their insurance companies by padding their claims. I’m like, “Why even bother trying to live right?” Working hard, saving, trying to be self reliant? Why bother? The takers outnumber us, and they’re getting away with it!!!
At least I know I’m not alone. Believe me. A lot of other Americans are asking themselves the same sorts of questions. The productive folks must be getting tired of all the monkeys riding Uncle Sam’s back. Right? Regardless, I’ll try to do right because it IS right.
