Where have I gone wrong on this thing. Seems to me that in 2010 the TEA Party, and various organizations weren’t aware they were “targeted”. They were frustrated, confused, and angry they couldn’t get the IRS to move on their applications, and although they might have been suspicious of such “targeting” what could they do other than what they did at the time? They had no proof.
The IRS only recently admitted they were targeting Conservative TEA Party organizations, so NOW the TEA Party is outraged by the admission of the IRS “targeting”, and asking for contributions to help them fight the evil that is our government today. NOW they have proof. What’s wrong with them asking for money NOW?
This is actually an opportune time for them to ask for money as the whole affair is current, and exposed. People are angry, and will open their checkbooks to help right the wrong.

They probably did not yet know there was an organized movement to target them and delay their applications back in 2010. And many likely just found out about it, on the news a few weeks ago, like Carney and 0bama.
I get so so many emails from 2A, conservative so and so, Tea Party, etc. that I’ve finally taken to going right to the bottom and see where the mailing address is. If it is to Bellevue Washington, it’s Alan Gottlieb behind it with at least 3 or 5 corporations he has subbed under another holding corp.
He’s the creep who sided with the Dems and RINOs on universal background check endorsements and then caught hell for it and tried to back out the night before the vote.
If I see BELLEVUE WASHINGTON as an address I junk it (but they keep coming - don’t bother to unsubscribe, that does no good).
I am on the teapartypatriots email list. Virtually every email I get from them is begging for money. They will gwet none from me.
The Tea Party IS NOT supposed to be a national group. If you recall, the Tea Party started off as lots of small, local grassroots organizations. That’s the way it was and that’s the way it should be.
National groups can be taken down easily. Lots of small, independent groups make that a lot harder.
Support your local Tea Party.
