I am on the teapartypatriots email list. Virtually every email I get from them is begging for money. They will gwet none from me.

The Tea Party IS NOT supposed to be a national group. If you recall, the Tea Party started off as lots of small, local grassroots organizations. That’s the way it was and that’s the way it should be.

National groups can be taken down easily. Lots of small, independent groups make that a lot harder.

Support your local Tea Party.

In the beginning the Liberal Media tried to make Palin a “tea party” leader. She came out right away and said she is NOT a leader of the “tea party grassroots movement”. Then later as more and more grassroots groups organized under thousands of various names, Michelle Bachman starts a “tea party caucus”. I saw that as her trying to “be a leader of” the grassroots movement. The thousands of Americans in the movement do NOT need a leader! I am my very OWN leader. And every American who loves America and our Founding principals is a leader!

I am pleased that those who have read this thread are not thinking I am trashing those planning an IRS rally, but just very disappointed that they think not having tax exempt status because of IRS actions is more important than Extortion 17 and Benghazi.

YES! I hope everyone joins and supports their local grassroots groups! Here is an example of a grassroots group that does WONDERFUL work on donations from folks like us and they NEVER asked for tax exempt status!! They are NOT a so called national Tea Party organization whose leader has a private jet to fly around in. AND they are not going around still mad about the Economy! Without National Security and National Defense against our enemies, we will have no Economy!
