I deeply appreciate that day in and day out Mark Levin takes on the Republican establishment. I'm encouraged that he has called out Paul Ryan and others for their disingenuous support of this 1000+ page immigration bill.
It is far past time he call out Marco Rubio, who it he face of this bill. I think if he is going to be sincere on this issue, he needs to highlight the main reason this bill has a chance of becoming law, and that reason is Marco Rubio.
How? By praising him in the past, before this immigration nightmare, like many conservatives did, including many freepers?
That's all you got?
You're lame. Bother somebody else.
Rush and Levin have denounced this immigration bill mercilessly and relentlessly. I hear it every day with my own ears. No, they haven't taken to calling Rubio mean names, if that's what you and others are looking for. But they have absolutely blasted Rubio for pushing this fiasco. They believe he is the ultimate dupe.
(Again, I don't know about Hannity, because I don't care about him.)
Hey Lancy, notice all the support for your position? Do you read any of these threads or just argue asinine things? Because several people on this thread have posted detailed examples of the support on this issue.
‘Go bother’ is not correct. Correct is “Norm, I falsely accused of lying when I had no proof, just like the liberals do. And I am damn pissed off about being called on it. I wanna say what I want and not be questioned.’
At that point, it will be too late for a third party. There's only one way to overturn such an illegitimate increase in the electorate, and it isn't by using the vote.
As I said, if he just admitted that Rubio is a liar and a fraud, I’d accept it. But we can think for ourselves, we don’t have to wait for him to say what we all know. Rubio gave a good speech and Republicans looked at the name and skin color and saw the Great Republican Hope rather than looking at the data which showed Republicans will never get the Latino vote and got suckered by the romance of a charming conservative son of immigrants.
Oh I’d accept it. But I would not forget. Ever. We are pretty much on the same page I think.
>> No, they haven’t taken to calling Rubio mean names, if that’s what you and others are looking for.
No, I don’t need that to happen. They’re no doubt friends, and it’s not necessary for them to publicly castigate Rubio.
I’m only interested in listening to Rush and Levin, but I admit to not listening 100% of the time. So I may have missed the repudiation of Rubio’s positions on immigratoin. I’ll take your word for it, and thanks for clarifying.
Yeah, the fact that Rubio pulled a Yassir Arafat and said one thing in English and the opposite in Spanish, then tried to weasel his way out when he got caught, proves he’s a liar and a fraud. The fact that he is doing this all for a bill that will literally destroy this nation, is absolutely unforgivable.
How is calling the man responsible for this fiasco a “Good conservative” during shoes on immigration repudiating him?
Serious question. Logic dictates that is supporting him. Repudiating him would be telling the truth and saying conservativim has no place for coddling illegal immigrants or the people pushing for it.
Am I wrong here? How so?
Edit “Shows”
Here you go. Since you don’t listen to Rush, here’s a transcript.
This will be my last post to you, you scumbag.

Scumbag? I think you just lost all credibility.
Here is a pretty good example of Rush thoughtfully examining the immigration bill, including (especially) the motivation of the players. I heard it live a few days ago. It is worthwhile reading if you have about 15 minutes. Good stuff:

FRegards,
LH
PS, I told you not 20 posts back that I do listen to Rush. And here you are AGAIN saying I don’t. That’s two flat out lies.
Passage assures destruction of the Republic. It’s almost too late for a 3rd party
>> repudiating him?
Not him, but his views; i.e., “repudiation of Rubios positions on immigration”
>> Am I wrong here? How so?
You’re not wrong. You’re pinning the policy to the man that’s making the decision to facilitate amnesty. It’s a value judgement on his character. And it’s his character that could help destroy the Country. And logic demands the inquiry: Why not castigate the type of individual that’s willing to destroy the Country? I get it.
Thanks for the link!
It frustrate me to no end that there is always an excuse, an ‘out’ that we are supposed to leave for out ‘conservative leaders’. (Not directing that at you personally)
Wrong is wrong no matter what. I don’t CARE that he is their friend. I had a gay friend once that probably saved my life. It came down to following my beliefs and standing by them or making excuses for what the situation was. I no longer associate myself with him. I always will appreciate what he did for me. But he was what he was and was not going to change. Nor was I.
Sorry about calling you a scumbag. I’m not sure if you’re a troll or not. Congratulations to you if you are.
Like I said, I get deeply suspicious of people who come along and attempt to trash the two most powerful voices for conservatism we have. Rush and Levin are solid conservatives who give no quarter to liberals. None. They both hate this immigration bill and believe if it is passed it will destroy the nation irretrievably.
Yes, Rush and Levin have praised Rubio in the past, and I believe they like the guy. They believe, perhaps wrongly, that he is well-intentioned. In the case of immigration reform, they both believe Rubio is a horribly misguided dupe for the rats. You and a few other children around here apparently want Rush and Levin to call Rubio bad names and rip him a new one, etc. That’s not going to happen. Stick with Howard Stern and Imus and that ilk, if that’s that’s the kind of thing you like.
Anyway, my previous post to you was obvioulsy not my final post to you. This one is.
First, I’m not a troll. After all out arguments you damn well ought to know that.
Second, My prior statements stand on their OBVIOUS merits.
