Breaking: Obama Threatens Veto of Religious Protection for Military

Breitbart News reported last week that Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) passed an amendment in the House Armed Services Committee protecting religious speech of service members in the military. President Barack Obama has now threatened to veto the bill if it passes the full House and Senate.

In other words, Obama says he will veto any bill that forbids his appointees or officers from telling a soldier that he cannot mention Jesus during prayer or have a Bible on his desk, or that keeps those appointees from telling a chaplain (who is an ordained clergyman) what religious teachings he is allowed to give in worship services, or what spiritual counseling he can give to another soldier.

Ambassador Ken Blackwell, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, tells Breitbart News:

President Obama is waging a war on religion. He and Chuck Hagel are denying the most basic rights to those who put their lives on the line to protect all of our rights. It is shameful and appalling. I am confident that congressional leadership will show courage to stand up for our troops against this radical assault on religious liberty in the military.

Out military is under savage assault, on fiscal, religious, and fundamental foundations.

- According to a statement this week by Rep "Buck" McKeon (R-CA), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Obama has recklessly cut (and Congress has foolishly approved) the military so deep it is now on its knees: $330 Billion cut by Obama in 2009 transferred to his domestic agenda, $487 Billion cut by Obama in 2011, and now $650 Billion by Sequestration

- The Pentagon is furloughing 650,000 DoD teachers, maintainers, nurses, and engineers, presenting them with a 20% cut in pay, while Obama gives Billions to Muslim Brotherhood organizations who murder children

- Christianity is now almost outlawed in the US military: paintings in dining halls that had a Bible verse in them are ripped off the walls, Bibles are banned in military inns, Bibles have been burned in Afghanistan, prayers are banned or highly restricted, and mentioning the name of Jesus is forbidden

My conclusion is the American people don't care. Even members of this board mocked Sequestration, and what it was going to do to the military. Few speak out about the loss of religious rights to the military. Even if there is outrage, it lasts but a day.

Man, Obummer’s got some real evil looking eyes and I’m not exagerrating. He’s filled with a lifelong rage and seeks real revenge against his enemies. Every waking moment of his life he’s angry, but he can’t let the world know about it. So he likes to play it cool like he’s Mr. Smooth, one hip and happening dude. He thinks he can escape his rage mentality with his sodomite lifestyle, but it only makes him worse, since it stops him from feeling guilty about anything. So how does he get revenge, well play a con game. Fool the world into believing he’s the real deal peace nik, the savior of the global economy and the untouchable President of the world’s most powerful nation. But that’s not enough, because he’s victimized by the man and the man is anybody who doesn’t support him 100%. He’s gotta stop that and he believes deservedly so. If he won’t then his enemies could harm him. So he’s gotta be defiant, he’s gotta be Leftist Joe and he’s gotta be your master. so for Obama it’s all about ‘stick it to the man.’

But if I judge eyes correcly then Hagel will crack. He’s beginning to realize he got punked. He’s gonna start squawking because he may actually feel some shame. He thought he could play a positive influence over Obama, but now he realizes that this type of thinking was a mistake. I don’t blame Hagel for that, some people such as myself see a person floundering and we think we can help them. But I’ll never forget what a Catholic bishop once told me in a private meeting. “You can’t help those who refuse to ask for help. If a person doesn’t want to change they won’t change.”
