Where should a transgender schoolgirl be allowed to pee? To some, this may sound like a minor, insignificant question, but not to Nicole Maines, a 15-year-old transgender girl who attended Maine public schools. Born a boy biologically, Maines now self-identifies as a girl, dressing in girls’ clothing and sporting a typical 15-year-old girl’s hair and makeup. In addition to the harassment she faced from other kids, Maines also met intolerance by school officials, who refused to allow her to use the girls’ bathroom. Instead, in a remarkably insensitive decision, the school required her to use a staff bathroom after a grandparent of a male student complained that Maines shouldn’t be allowed in the little girls’ room.
Maines’ parents took her out of the school and sued the school, claiming their daughter’s potty segregation was a violation of Maine’s Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination against transgender people on the basis of their gender identity....

Restrooms are one of the last explicit vestiges of segregation on the basis of sex. In a nation evolved enough to allow women to serve in combat and have women on the presidential ticket, we still maintain strict and outdated rules that discriminate in who can use which restroom. Even at liberal law schools like UCLA, where I teach, the bathrooms are all clearly marked for gender uses in a way that no one would accept for race: there are rooms labeled specifically for men and others specifically for women.

Four, Boys, Girls, Transgender Female, Transgender Male. I don’t know if transgender male means a female with female plumbing who wants to be a male or a male with male plumbing who wants to be female, either way we should have both so they will all be comfortable. If the restrooms all have stalls with doors possibly they won’t figure it out and the schools and taxpayers won’t get sued. We must start immediatly and add these restrooms to all our schools and public places, there should be as many as ladies and men’s rooms so they won’t have to walk further than none transgender people to the restroom. Think of the new construction boodoggle of public spending, Kohler could probably design new types of equipment for them.

What about the girls’ rights, the parents’ rights, who don’t want someone with a penis and testicles in the girls’ bathroom?

Add the transgenders and it’s six, this could turn the economy around, adding all these new restrooms to schools businesses and public buildings, it would be good for plumbing contractors and just think of the opportunity for graft, corruption and kickbacks with these gotta get it done quick government contracts.

I recall when some opponents of the “Equal Rights Amendment” said it would lead to unisex bathrooms. They were mocked mercilessly for that, in all of the MSM. Turns out that they were right (as in correct, or prescient).

Personally, I prefer the unisex ones.

As one of those chicks I prefer them too, they are usually a lot cleaner than the women’s room, popular culture makes it seem as if all women are clean little angels, you would be surprised how many women don’t wash their hands after doing their business and how many don’t flush or just plain don’t practice sanitary bathroom habits.
The unisex ones are usually cleaner because they don’t see as much usage.
I was in the ladies room once at work, and there was a person washing their hands. This person had a beard and was very stocky. He was new, as I had never seen him around before and I thought I would be nice and I said “this is the ladies room”, as it is not clearly marked. His response “i know”.
I felt sooooo uncomfortable, and couldn’t use the restroom until this person was gone.
By the laws of gravity it should be impossible and the only way to descibe it is “how?”
