Just another attempt at distraction. Since he is claiming that it was a conservative Republican, you can bet your last dollar it was a liberal Democrat.

Personally I do not think it matters which party affiliation the person has. It is the action taken that is under question.

Americans have traditionally have had a higher compliance rate when it comes to taxes then other industrial nations. That is because for the most part Americans have trusted their government.
In just a few short years Liberal Democrats have eroded that trust. Americans can no longer trust their government to be impartial.
I do not believe the Democrats fully understand the slippery slope they have pushed the nation down.
