Rep. Elijah Cummings has yet to reveal the name of the “conservative Republican” IRS agent he claims started the agency’s improper targeting of conservative groups, despite evidence that the targeting was overseen by a registered Democrat working out of Washington, D.C.
Cummings, a Democrat from Maryland and the top Democrat on the House oversight committee, claimed this week that an unnamed Republican manager in the IRS’s Cincinnati office started the agency’s targeting of conservative groups, and that “the case is solved” with no evidence of White House wrongdoing.
Cummings claimed in a letter to Republican Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa, dated June 9, that his staff had interviewed a “conservative Republican” manager from the IRS’ Cincinnati office who took the blame for the improper targeting.

Personally I do not think it matters which party affiliation the person has. It is the action taken that is under question.
Bottom line who gave the order to target one segment of the population while allowing another to skate?
Americans have traditionally have had a higher compliance rate when it comes to taxes then other industrial nations. That is because for the most part Americans have trusted their government.
In just a few short years Liberal Democrats have eroded that trust. Americans can no longer trust their government to be impartial.
I do not believe the Democrats fully understand the slippery slope they have pushed the nation down.

Usually the Dems have NO PROBLEM naming a Republican.
The man is an embarrassment to government at any level. He's under-educated, not even street-smart....and the neurons in his brain certainly don't function properly in sparking coherent speech and dot-connection.
He doesn't appear to have early onset of dementia, but as you inferred correctly in your post, he certainly is barely functioning with minimal intelligence and a smattering of cognitive dissonance.
Mix that with the clinging of a discontented dullard to a leader and a cult like Obama and the Democrats, you have a useless partisan hack taking up space and oxygen in any place where he occupies a niche.
As far as being an elected member of the exalted U.S. House...and of being minority chair of an important Committee, he's a prime example of that old saying, "Shiite floats".
